• WAT PHRA RAM : This temple is located outside the grand palace ahead to the south. It was made in order of King Ramesuan. Wat Phra Ram is open every day from 8:00 am until 18:00 pm. 30 baht for admission.

• WAT MAHA THAT : Wat Maha That is a temple was constructed in the reign of King Borom Rachathirat I, housing the holy relics of Lord Buddha. It is located in front of the grand palace near Pa Than Bridge. Wat Mahathat is open every day from 08:00am until 18.00pm. Admission is 30 baht.

• WAT CHAIWATTHANARAM : This temple was built by command from King Prasat Thong, which is located in the same riverback adjacent to Wat Phutthaisawan, but heading west. Pagodas and Prang are still left in good shape. It is open every day from 8:00 am until 18:00 pm. Admission is 30 baht.

• CHAO SAM PHRAYA NATIONAL MUSEUM : This is one big museum in Dn Rochana Road. It contains many historical materials and information of antiques. It even contains more than 500 years stuff like relics of Lord Buddha, art, or carved paintings. It is open every day except for Mondays and Tuesday from 09:00am until 16:00 pm. Admission is 30 baht.

• AYUTTHAYA HISTORICAL STUDY CENTER : This place looks like a big library or museum that is supported with information service, which is responsible for information of Ayutthaya’s history that exhibits reconstructions from Ayutthaya’s past. • WAT YAI CHAIMONGKHON : We can see this monastery with its large pagoda from far away. This pagoda stands for the victory of King Naresuan the Great combat on elephant back. It is constructed among the reign of King Uthong. This monastery is constructed among the reign of King Uthong. It is located outside the city to the Southeast in the same direction as the railway station. It is open every day from 08:00am until 18.00 pm. Admission is only 20 baht.

• WAT PHANAN CHOENG : Overlooking the river on the opposite bank from the main city, Wat Phanan Choeng was founded shortly before the establishment of Ayutthaya as the Kingdoms capital. Its main building enshrines a huge, seated Buddha image, that is 57 feet tall an object of particular devotion to Thais of Chinese origin. This principal image called Phrachao Phananchoeng was built of stucco in the attitude of subduing evil in 1325. The temple is a popular stopover for riverboat cruises along the Maenam Chao Phraya. This temple can be reached by boat from the fortress ruins.
