Suits your need!!

by KALYANASUNDARAM from Malaysia, 27 Jun 05

Conveniently located near airport with good free shuttle services. Aircraft noises can be clearly heard. Acceptable place if you need something as a transit but not a holiday place. American Breakfast choice as expected and layout was good.

Would return but ask about getting the door locked between the rooms.

by Anonymous User from New Zealand, 6 Jan 06

The courtesy shuttle was a LONG time coming, but it was good to have someone to pick me up. The staff were helpful and the room was clean. There was an unlocked door between my room and the adjoining room which I found a bit unnerving - so I put a piece of furniture across the door. The breakfast was good and the wake up call came on time. And the courtesy shuttle got me back to the airport on time.

Second stay

by Anonymous user, 17 Jan 06

This was my second stay and it was better than the previous one (which was fine otherwise I wouldn't have returned).

The shuttle came without too much delay and the room didn't have a door to the adjoining one this time.

It's clean and convenient and I expect I will return.

OK for a one night stopover between flights

by John Salmon from South Korea, 21 May 05

This hotel is convenient for a one night stopover.

Would not like to stay any longer. Rooms are very basic and furniture is basic and getting long in the tooth.

Hotel really needs a complete "Makeover"

These are comments on reaching the Hotel late in the evening and departing very early the next day.

Free shuttle to and from the airport!

by Lena Abrahamian from Fresno, CA, 25 Jun 05

I stayed at this place because it had a free shuttle to and from the airport. Staying there for one night from a flight lay over wasn't bad. The room was very spacious, but everything seems to be worn out. The A/C worked perfectly. That was the newest looking item in the room and being in Bangkok, that's the most important thing! I'm not a picky sleeper, so being right next to the airport didn't bother me. Like I said, I was there just to sleep. I paid about $35 American dollars and it was worth it.

Came for location - might go back for the breakfast.

by Josh and Tamami from Tokyo, 24 May 06

We stayed here for 4 hours between an International and domestic flight. The convenience of the location couldn't be beat. The room on the other hand is very old - clean enough but the shower couldn't seem to provide anything in between a cold drizzle and a scalding hot drizzle. I very much appreciated the all night shuttle service as well as the fact that breakfast is served from 3:30am. We had our breakfast at 4:00 and it tasted wonderful. A full selection at the buffet and even a cook standing by to make omelets. That was better than expected.

Bangkok Airport

by louie c spencer from sun valley idaho, 30 Nov 05

It has a great location for someone arriving one afternoon and going out the next day. It is not a place to stay if one were visiting Bangkok. Rooms nice enough - carpets need cleaning but it was fine for my purposes. I am from the deep south of the USA and it looked familiar to many old hotels down there- a bit worn, tropics have eaten it up a bit but everyone was very friendly, bus service to and from airport efficient and free.

Would use it again for the same purposes but for nothing else.

Pros and cons of convenient location

by Kat from UK, 10 Oct 05

This is certainly a place you would choose for its location. The shuttle bus service is very convenient although you need to be very vigilant to find the rep at the airport I found. The facilities are all there as described, the only problem was that if you are staying for any length of time as I did when my flight was late at night, there are very few people who actually frequent the restaurant, bar and other facilities so the hotel feels very empty and impersonal. That doesn't mean to say that you can't jump in a taxi and go elsewhere though

As for the rooms, I saw little difference between the deluxe and standard rooms other that the fact that since my deluxe was a smoking room it smelt awful when I arrived, but then I guess that's always going to be an issue.

Room service was great value and very prompt. Nothing like a bit of lazing about!

Convenient, but lots of airplane noise

by Josephine Darst from Colville, WA, 20 Mar 06

Noise level high, but that is to be expected because of the proximity to the airport. Shuttle service was a real bonus, made the stay worthwhile. Restaurant was OK, but expensive, and not the quality that I had been used to in other parts of Thailand that I had visited.

Only stay if necessary.

by Richard F from Sydney Australia, 9 Jun 05

Good location for the airport, smelly rooms, noisy airconditioning as well as overhead planes. Service was curtious but facilities grubby. For a little extra we should have caught a taxi to the city and stayed elsewhere.
