Notional Proximity to airport - Only feature of hotel

For stop over, location is good, however, due to on and off ramps for the expressway, the travel to the Hotel from the airport is extended. From hotel to airport is quick.
Facilities at the hotel are less then average, one would expect the same from 2 1/2 star hotel, it is old and showing its age. The surrounding area to the hotel is less then suitable for families or couples.
On the whole, the only reason this hotel survives is its notional proximity to the airport. Take the extra 15 minutes cab ride and go into the city for a truly quality hotel.

A Fair Comment

Pleasant greeting staff on arrival at the airport terminal. Our request for a non smoking and double-bed room was met. Bell-hops are polite, pleasant and helpful. Didn't have time to try the restaurant.
Good for an overnight stay, as really close to the airport for both international and domestic arrivals/departures.

Not too bad

Probably very nice at one time. Hallways are well worn and shabby. Rooms are clean and quiet and beds are comfortable. Has a large Mall with Internet service and a couple of decent bowling alleys. A night bizarre and sometimes live entertainment.
A lot of hidden charges and the US dollar is worth less at this hotel. The free shuttle cost 100 Baht and the breakfast is twice as much as advertised. Don't expect kind, courteous service here, they can be almost rude. I have stayed about 5 times because it is convenient after a long flight, but after a good nights sleep I go someplace nice.

Asia hotel

Its a very well situated hotel in relation to the airport and they also have a free shuttle bus which takes you to the airport every hour. The staff were very pleasant. My only criticism is that I was on the top floor (18) which was fine but this made the shower like a trickle.

Never again

This hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed in, the bathroom was filthy an the towels smelt. After a long day of travelling from Liverpool this is not a place you would want to stay. as soon as we were awake in the morning we was out of there!!! Please don't stay here you will be highly disappointed.
