Excellent location, maximum convenience !

If shopping is tops on your itinerary, then this is the perfect hotel ! It's located within walking or BTS distance from Paragon, MBK, Siam Discovery and Central - all the malls you really need ! Plus, the BTS will also take you to Chatuchak for the weekend market ! The cabin room may be small but it is extremely comfy and great value for money ! Highly recommended.

Room Facilities

Everything is good except no kettle for us to boil hot water, we can't make any hot drink. There is no tissue paper and hairdryer provide in the room too, we have to wait till our hair dry then can go and sleep.

I be back soon for my next Bangkok trip

Nice comfortable hotel, I enjoyed staying there especially when I'm able to watch soccer thru the cable TV, hahaha. Very convenient for me especially after long day at Chacutak market, nearby to BTS system. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast provided, really nice. Walking distance to MBK and all other shopping centre nearby. For Muslim tourist you can go to Makyah Muslim Restaurant situated at 497/16 Petchburi Rd, Rajthevi Bangkok, along The Road Beside Soi 7. Walk out from the hotel turn left, walk straight & cross the street, turn left and walk straight ahead. Its about 5-10mins walk from the hotel.
For couples or family beware because your partner might end up spending so much money & time at Naraya boutique at the hotel lobby but actually the items there are nice, unique & affordable to be given as gifts or souveniers.

As good as what you pay for

The location is great, its connected to Ratchathewi station on the BTS. It's also very close to MBK, Siam Paragon, good tailors, and good places to eat for western and Thai style food.
The hotel staff is as friendly as they can get. I understand when they aren't that friendly; some foreigners just ruin for the rest of the tourists, but if you show patience and arent trying to jam orders and questions down their throats you will get 4 star service. I was apporached for most of my questions whenever I lined up. Others like to cut in line and jump in front of people who were obviously waiting.
Rooms are good. Stayed there 2 different times. first room didn't have a window but it was clean and spacious enough. The second time I had a window but the A/C kinda put out some old smell. But I could sleep knowing there were no cockroaches.
It's a good idea to get the breakfast. It's a good deal, the food is actually really good, and theres a nice selection. Other facilities weren't great but manageable. Gym sauna pool are sufficient enough to get what you would use them for anyways.
I'd definitely stay there again. Its better than the Ambassador or paying the high prices of IC hotel or other big name ones

I always stay at the Asia Hotel

I love the Asia hotel Bangkok and I always stay there. It is old but clean. It is good value.It is not luxurious and modern but it is always crowded and popular with the tourists. The staff are happy and friendly. It is right on a sky train station and in the evenings Elvis sings in the restaurant. Who could ask for more???

Hotel linked to BTS station

The only thing I was disappointed about the room which I stayed was, there was no window in the room!! However, I was glad that the hotel was directly linked to the BTS Rathcathewi station. It is very convenient for my traveling from one point of the city to another. It's cheap too!! This hotel is nearby a 7-11 store for quick bites and is about 5 (if I'm not wrong) stations from Chatuchak market (Mochit Station) and 2 stations from Siam Square shopping mall and the main city. Overall, I find it good value for money.

Good choice

Despite of the hotel a little bit older and clumsy, the location excellent. No lift or escalator from Sky Train to hotel - beware. The breakfast in hotel cost only 280 THB. Good value for money.

Convenience at your doorstep

The hotel is clean and its location is very strategic - great access to BTS Skytrain, a short walk to the canal boat, and food stalls in almost every corner.
Although the only setback was that the hotel did not make much effort to stop some ignorant dwellers against smoking in a non-smoking floor.

Very good

Very good, clean, good location, great food, great service. You need to make reservation in advance to get a good price otherwise the price go up when you don't have reservation.

Comfortable and very nicely located

The best thing about this hotel is certainly its location, linked to the Sky-train station which allows you to easily reach many interesting attractions. Staff was helpful and room was comfortable, but try to avoid the room with no window (cabin). It may be cheap but it is also unpleasant never knowing whether it's day or night, raining or shining. I would certainly go back to this hotel.
