Comfortable and very nicely located

The best thing about this hotel is certainly its location, linked to the Sky-train station which allows you to easily reach many interesting attractions. Staff was helpful and room was comfortable, but try to avoid the room with no window (cabin). It may be cheap but it is also unpleasant never knowing whether it's day or night, raining or shining. I would certainly go back to this hotel.

Worth the money

The location of the hotel is great. The room is quite shabby - very simple and old. If you are not going to spend your time sitting around in the hotel then the room is OK for the night stay.

Service could be much better

The hotel is good value for money. However, I cannot say that staying there was a very good experience. The rooms are OK. The service could have been much much better. The breakfast was crowded and unpleasant. There has been a long queue on the way to the breakfast, which did not interfere with them clearing the food only 5 minutes after the people entered the restaurant.

Good choice

Despite of the hotel a little bit older and clumsy, the location excellent. No lift or escalator from Sky Train to hotel - beware. The breakfast in hotel cost only 280 THB. Good value for money.

Convenience at your doorstep

The hotel is clean and its location is very strategic - great access to BTS Skytrain, a short walk to the canal boat, and food stalls in almost every corner.
Although the only setback was that the hotel did not make much effort to stop some ignorant dwellers against smoking in a non-smoking floor.

I always stay at the Asia Hotel

I love the Asia hotel Bangkok and I always stay there. It is old but clean. It is good value.It is not luxurious and modern but it is always crowded and popular with the tourists. The staff are happy and friendly. It is right on a sky train station and in the evenings Elvis sings in the restaurant. Who could ask for more???

Hotel linked to BTS station

The only thing I was disappointed about the room which I stayed was, there was no window in the room!! However, I was glad that the hotel was directly linked to the BTS Rathcathewi station. It is very convenient for my traveling from one point of the city to another. It's cheap too!! This hotel is nearby a 7-11 store for quick bites and is about 5 (if I'm not wrong) stations from Chatuchak market (Mochit Station) and 2 stations from Siam Square shopping mall and the main city. Overall, I find it good value for money.

Another satisfied customer

Conveniently located near BTS Skytrain. Near enough to walk to MBK, a good thing as not many places to eat or shop around hotel. Deluxe room was spacious with extra bed (normal bed and not a cot was provided for 3rd person which is a plus). Room a little old but good value for the price.

Good location

We arrived at 2am after a delayed flight and the check in was smooth as silk. It was all ready from us to move right in. The breakfasts were good, and the staff, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Great position with transport at the door from the hotel services, metered taxis tuk tuks and the BTS Skytrain. The hotel was always very busy, the rooms clean and security good. We would stay again!

Very good

Very good, clean, good location, great food, great service. You need to make reservation in advance to get a good price otherwise the price go up when you don't have reservation.
