My comments

by Toby from China,HongKong, 19 Feb 08

I stayed at the Bangkok Boutique Hotel from the 14th to 18Feb, 2008, standard room.

The location is good, very near to 7-11. Take a few mins. walk to the subway Petchburi station. For skytrain, I take 15 to 20mins to the Asok Station then. But the taxi driver was hard to get to the place, lucky I brought a map in thai address with me.

The welcome drink was very nice and feel relax at the lobby.

Room is clean, with LCD TV screen, but the furnishing is old, No slipper & No teeth brush. This is quite pity that the water pressures come out from the shower is not stable. Also I surprised that the wireless internet fee is very expensive! To be honest, I expected it should be free now. Hope they can improve. No lift but that is fine for me, I only lived at 2nd floor.

I like the breakfast buffet, the food is good, especially for the egg they made, I ordered the scramble egg every day.

Furthermore, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Enjoyable Second Visit

by Alvin from Singapore, 5 Apr 08

It is my second visit and nothing has changed. Service provided, especially by the porters, were excellent. They were friendly and willing. The metro is only 5 minutes away on foot. If budget is a consideration, nothing beats this.

Good hotel for business trip

by Pan Fui San from Sabah, Malaysia, 29 Apr 08

The lobby and outside was beautiful decorated. I'm not satisfied with the room and location. The room are very small, same as the bed. It may only suitable for business trip stay. The breakfast was great. It is a buffet style with variation choice. The location was poor. That location might be a business area. No shopping, no entertainment. It can only reach to MRT by walking for 10minutes time(No skytrain route).

Value for money

by Anonymous user from Singapore, 10 Aug 05

Clean and good value for money. Hotel deco is very tastefully done up. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food served at the cafe is good. It is less than 5 mins walk to the MRT station.

Great

by xxx from Bangkok, 13 Dec 05

Great place. A bit expensive for the room but great for location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Small and comfortable. The room is small but as you know, it's in the city centre.

Will not go back because of poor service

by Anonymous User, 16 Jan 06

The hotel is nice and clean. However the service is very bad. I booked a room with triple share (extra bed) and was confirmed. When i reached the hotel, the staff told me they have ran out of extra bed. This should not be the case as I have already pre-booked my extra bed.

Although they upgraded us to a suite but it was not helpful as I spent my first night sleeping on the sofa. On the 2nd day morning, they promise the extra bed but when i got back to the hotel there was none. After much complains then they brought one in.

The service staff, especially at the reception has very bad attitude.

Great Room, Great Location

by Lyle Taylor from Australia, 27 Feb 06

Great rooms, When it comes time to check out can take a little too long. Everything is very clean and is what you would expect for money paid. Rooms are small though.

Cool Place in Bangkok

by Mario Lajarca Jr. from Singapore, 27 Feb 06

I've stayed at Bangkok Boutique Hotel through the assistance of AtSiam.com and Pranalee as the one who helped me out from the same company. It was much cheaper to book it online than walking in!

Two skytrain stations are just around the bend near the hotel 1) Petchburi 2) Asoke...I think?!! It saves you more money to eat more tom-yums and go shopping taking the train! Sukhumvit is the place where most themed spas are located and I couldn't ask for more! I went here mainly for that and to unwind!

The only downside to this hotel is that breakfast is just about the same the whole time I was there. Not that I always eat breakfast but thought for a boutique hotel they could improve this part, maybe add scrambled eggs, shiny hams and bacons, and maybe more fruit juice selection.

Facilities wise, there's still room for improvement, maybe a spa, jacuzzi, a pool perhaps, or an elevated outdoor massage to perfect its name as a boutique hotel.

So far, it's been cool! I'd recommend this spot to anyone who wants peace and nice service people!

Will recommend this hotel to friends

by Jane Lai from Johor Bahru, Malaysia, 8 Mar 06

Feeling very ease and relax. Because the hotel is not very big therefore most of the staff will know you and they are warm and friendly. We booked for 1 night and decided to extend the 2nd night. The hotel rate from internet is cheaper than walk in therefore, we paid more for the 2nd night. Hotel is about 10 min walk to the MRT station.
