We will be back
by Pan Fui San from Sabah, Malaysia, 29 Apr 08
Hotel are near to the Skytrain. Walk around 5 the skytrain are reachable. Along the walkway, there is alot of stall, shop, some 24hrs bank and 24hrs store. You can continue your shopping at nite on the walkway. All the stall will open until midnight. The price are slightly higher than other market. The price can be bargain. You can found very cheap Thai massage at that area too.
The only problem staying at Bangkok Sahara Hotel was the people there. You can found that almost 80% was Arab people. Feel unsafety. The room clean and comfortable which over that my expectation. No smell and the bed was a king size bed. The breakfast provided was in a-la carte style. If they can change it to buffet style will much perfect.

We are not going back to that hotel.
by Anonymous user, 19 Mar 07
We have been staying in Bangkok Sahara Hotel for past few years and everything was all right. But recently in two different visits one of the receptionist lady who usually work in the morning was really unfriendly. In one occasion, we asked to provide room in upper floor then she said those rooms are for walk-in customers or customers who book directly to the hotel. She said if we book through internet or agency then she will provide 1st floor where no elevator is available. In our last trip my wife was not feeling well so it was hard for her to climb the stairs so we request the room where we can take elevator. But she ignored our request.
I don't think I want to stay in Bangkok Sahara Hotel anymore.

Perfect location with spotless bathroom!
by SITI BAHIJAH BAKHTIAR from Kuala Lupur, Malaysia, 19 Dec 06
What we really liked about this hotel is the location. It is very near the Gulliver's Travelers Pub, Foodland and BTS Skytrain Nana Station (just about 4-5 minutes walk!). Another thing that I want to rave about is the hotel bathroom which is very clean and practically spotless! Never before have I seen a hotel bathroom (budget or 5-star), this clean!
The hotel's food outlet which is the Thai Food Terrace also caters for Muslim travelers. The price is also reasonable enough that makes you choose to eat there rather than to the nearby Muslim restaurants.
However, the receptionists need to be more trained in handling customers more efficiently and politely. They also need to be more informative about tourist spots, Bangkok transportation and more.
However, apart from the receptionists, I had a good stay at the hotel and I am definitely staying here again using AtSiam.com reservation service if I am ever in Bangkok!
