I'd stay again

by Peter from Queensland, Australia, 8 Mar 08

Really good value, staff were always helpful and the breakfasts were good. Easy access to airport but for local cabs you need to cross a road to go in the right direction as a short walk could save you 20 mins while the cab does a u-turn. Close to BTS public transport. A good spot all in all.

Recomended!

by Therese Westerdahl from Sweden, 23 Feb 08

We only stayed one night, arriving late in the evening, so we didn“t spend much time here. Although we had dinner in the restaurant, very good food but unbelievably expensive! We stayed in the cheapest room, which was everything you need!

Affordable and Comfortable stay.

by Faz from Dubai, UAE, 8 Jan 07

We stayed on the 7th floor of the hotel and the room was fairly large compared to what I have stayed at before. Great view out of the full windows to the swimming pool. The decor was very modern and gave it a nice ambience. However, the lower floors are still under renovation and looked dated. The restaurant is fairly small and can get a little crowded at breakfast.

If you are a first timer to Bangkok, I would recommend the concierge service CHAN as he was very helpful in showing us on a map all the sites we need to visit for shopping, etc.

Only drawback was the hotel didn't have any wireless access in all the rooms - would have expected that in every hotel in its class in bangkok.

The hotel is 5 mins walk from the Sukhumvit road which can be a noisy. Use the massage and hair salons near the hotel as they are cheaper and less crowded. 24 convenience store with a cheap eatery nearby.

Great value for money

by Volker Rebel from Germany, 15 Sep 06

The hotel is not really brand new but relatively well maintained. Walking distance to BTSC (Sky Train) is about five minutes which is very convenient.
The variety of the breakfast buffet could be better but was OK. Considering the price of THB 2,590,- per night for a double room including breakfast (extra bed for 9 years old daughter was free) the value for money is really great. Not very much better hotels at similar location (Amari Boulevard or The Landmark) are much more expensive.

Okay

by Graham Musgrove from Hoddesdon, England, 12 Jun 06

The staff in general were pretty helpful and happy, we got upgraded to a junior suite which I thought was a bit tired and could do with updating. With the amount of competition I feel they need to do a bit of work on the rooms. The public areas were okay.

Bel-Aire Princess Bangkok

by Roger K from Brisbane, Australia, 21 Feb 06

The hotel is located close to the monorail for easy access. It has a tours desk where you can book tours around Bangkok. There is a post office very close. Night life is good close by.

I'd be happy to stay there again and plan to do so on my next trip there.

Just book it!!!

by James Sherratt from Manchester, 16 Feb 06

The accommodation is exellent for what it costs to stay there. If your only in Bangkok for a few nights then it's worth paying 18 pounds per night for a room. It's very clean comfortable and also in a pleasent location, It's a 5 min walk to the Sky train which is the best form of transport and there are also lots of travel agents near by if you want to book a flight to anywhere else in Thailand or arrange a trip. They also understand!!
