Loved the place!

by Josephine T. Sanchez from Philippines, 19 Feb 06

I liked the place because the location was quite near to all like the river cruise and the sky train, market and mall as well. The only thing I disliked is that the taxi drivers do not know the place. We had to tell them that it was near Shangri la Hotel . The hotel's location was not in the map.

Very nice little gem

by Alessio Irrera from Nottingham United kingdom, 4 May 06

Very good service, especially the restaurant. Great location, very close to the river boat station and the sky train station. Unfortunately the walls that separate the rooms are paper like and we could hear everything was going on in the room next to ours (and i really mean everything!!!!). Nice swimming pool and decent gym, good spa services, recommended the facial treatment.

Disappointed of staying

by usawan from thai, 28 Dec 06

We feel sorry for ourselves to book this hotel for full payment before arrive, the pic looked fine on website, but in reality, the room furniture are old, and not that clean enough, noisy from a/c. When we asked the receptionist to give us other room. They could give only the smaller room at the corner, and still noisy the same from a/c. When we asked from upgrade to superior room. They tried to charge us double price when we checked out, the staffs not helpful, and unskilled of dealing with customers. They told us to contact the agent by ourselves, not with their hotel itself.

Definitely worth another stay

by Michael Seah from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 29 Jan 07

Stayed for 2 nights (superior room) from Jan 24-26, 07. Doesn't look very good from the outside but most importantly it is very good on the inside. Great value for the price.

Relatively close to Skytrain and Chao Phraya River ferries. Only problem is it doesn't have parking space for my rented car.

Comfortable and Good Value

by Peter Thomson, 20 Mar 07

Location not bad, close to the river and the Sky Train. A few restaurants within walking distance.

I think we stayed in a deluxe room, it was fairly large, bed was comfortable, overlooked the street but was reasonably quiet. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

The room had a strange opening between the bathroom and the bedroom (a bit like a serving hatch), it could be closed with wooden shutters.

Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of dishes. Not a stunning 5star breakfast but then it is not a 5star hotel.

Excellent value - one of my bkk favourites.

by Andrew ten Seldam from Australia, 23 Apr 07

Quite close to the sky train but at the end fo the line, pretty close to Silom, so all round good location. Rooms good size, modern decor. small pool and gym. Very good value for money, probably the best I know of around this level.

Great hotel, but the Front Desk gave us terribly misleading information!

by Eric Backhouse from Hanoi, Vietnam (ex New Zealand), 12 May 07

We stayed twice, the first time for 3 nights, and the second time for 1 night. On the first occasion we were very happy with the room (Deluxe) which was everything that we expected from the advertising. On the second occasion we were given a room which smelt badly from cigarette smoke (even though we had requested a non-smoking room). They did, however, change rooms when we asked (why weren't we given a non-smoking room to start with?)

Our only major complaint was with the information provided by the front desk. When we asked which airport our flight was departing from, they asked for our flight number, and confidently told us the wrong airport!

Consequently we had to take a second taxi to the correct airport, and had it not been for the driver breaking the land speed record, we would have missed our flight. If the front desk gives information, it should be correct - this was inexcusable!!!

We will always stay at Bossotel!

by from WA, United States, 10 Sep 07

My husband and I stayed at the Bossotel Inn and have already recommended it to another couple. The hotel is very clean and the deluxe room was great; included a soaking tub and large bathroom. Your just two block from the sky train, which is the best way to get around Bangkok, and a main shopping mall. The hotel includes breakfast with your choice of omletes, cereal, local fruit, and other 'familiar' items. The staff was great, the spa was great, and we were close to everything.

Four star hotel for two star price.

by William Barnett from Midland, Mi, 9 Nov 07

We traveled with friends and we had the large room and they had a small one. Both were very clean and up to date. The staff was very friendly and could not do enough. It was a short walk to the river and to the MRT. The breakfast buffet was very large, varied daily, and had Western and Asia foods. Each day fresh-made omelets were available. There was always a large assortment of fruit. For our larger room, given the nature of the hotel situation in Bangkok, I would easily give it a four to five star.
