Fantastic find!

by ALE from vic, Australia, 13 May 08

Excellent place. I highly recommend. Great location close to the skytrain, supermarket and park. Lovely staff. The rooms are excellent value with plenty of space and the kitchen area makes snacks or quick meals so convenient.

Great hotel, not-so-great city

by Nick from London, 3 Apr 08

Great hotel, great room, OK breakfast. Internet access in the rooms and a decent pool/gym area. If you have to go to Bangkok, this is the hotel to stay in. 5 minutes walk to the Skytrain station.

Great Place To Stay

by Anonymous User from MA, United States, 5 Feb 08

I've stayed here 3 times now and it is a very comfortable place in a quiet part of downtown (quiet being a relative term in Bangkok ;-) ) The Skytram is 5 minutes easy walk and there is a Starbucks, 7-Eleven and a cool jazz bar all within 4 minutes walk.

The hotel staff are friendly and efficient. It's not cheapest, but if it makes for a convenient base for getting around BKK and really comfy rooms. Watch out for the taxi guys though - and insist they turn on the meter BEFORE getting in the cab.

Since Center Point Langsuan is a quieter area, less taxis go there so the ones who are there seem to be more demanding. Should be about 200 baht to get back to the airport. From the airport it will cost 50 baht for airport tax (payable to the driver), 65 baht in road tolls (49 + 25), and then about 210 for the taxi ride itself.

Centre Point Langsuan will be my first choice the next time

by Chonticha from Thailand/Netherlands, 17 Jun 07

I stayed here for a total of 12 nights on several separate occasions during my 5-week holiday with my mother. Initially we had booked only a 5-night stay, but we enjoyed ourselves so much that Centre Point Langsuan ended up being our base. We were also upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment each time we returned -- a lovely low season bonus.

The staff is great (very friendly and helpful), the rooms are spacious and clean, the food is good and very reasonably priced and the varied breakfast buffet has something to offer for everyone. The location is superb: a 5-minute leisurely walk to the Chitlom BTS station from where the Siam Square shopping and entertainment area is one stop away (or you can walk there using the skywalk -- no traffic other than other pedestrians), and the vast Suan Lum Night Bazaar is just a 5-minute taxi ride away. There's a minimarket in the lobby, a 7-11 and a Starbucks within walking distance, and various ATMs. If you're feeling adventurous, closeby there are also street vendors selling som tam (green papaya salad) and fabulous fried bananas. As far as I'm concerned, I'll be back the next time I'm in Bangkok.

by Mrs.Suphawadi Peckham from Florida,USA, 4 Apr 07

The room is pretty clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning control is not working well. Services was good willing to help and fast. The room service was pretty good and inexpensive. The location is a bit inconvenient to getting around but also pretty quiet.

It was great!

by Benita Andersson from Sundsvall, Sweden, 22 Mar 07

The only thing that was a little bit boring was the surroundings and that the pool wasn't outside. Besides that me and my family would love to stay at Centre Point Langsuan on the next visit to Bangkok.

Great Hotel

by Anonymous user, 27 Jan 07

Staff were great, food and service in restaurant excellent. Good Breakfast selection. The hotel is hard to fault. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. Its a shame this review insists on a thirty word quota.

Fantastic pIace to stay

by Anonymous from London, 4 Nov 06

I must thank everyone who wrote a review for here, as the positive reviews are the reason I chose to book.

I too was truely impressed by the standard of accommodation, facilities and service.

The only not so great side is the free internet which boasts to be 2meg. I found it hanged quite a lot, which was frustrating.

If your into shopping, the location isn't as close as some of the surrounding hotels, but its only a short walk or sky train ride.

I loved it, great value for money, totally recommend it.

Great Bangkok choice

by Geoffrey CLARKE from Canberra, ACT, 17 Oct 06

Excellent value. Great location and facilities including kitchen in room and hotel's own laundrette. Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast and own Tuk-Tuk to station and shopping centre. All you want without being intrusively overbearing.

Excellent Choice

by Bern from SFO, 4 Oct 06

The serviced apartments are an excellent alternative to the hotels in the area. The room was up to date and comfortable, fully staffed building, exceptional breakfast buffet. the only complaint was the shower water wasn't hot. Other than that its all good. 10 minute walk to the BTS station were the air walk is available all the way to downtown Siam Square. If you like running like me, a fifteen minute walk in the other direction will bring you to Lumpini Park.
