Good accommodation at cheap rate.

by CK from S'pore, 21 May 05

Spacious room, with a small kitchen and a small side counter for dining. Plates, forks, spoon & knives are all provided in the room. Would definitely go back. But book online with AtSiam to get good rates.

Something else worth mentioning. When we checked out, we left some belongings behind. Called back and they are able to recover it and left it at reception for my collection.

Only negative thing i have is that the common corridor outside the rooms are very hot as they don't seem to have the air-con. on other than the room and front lobby.

I'll go back for the location

by Aharon Li-ran from Greece, 21 May 05

Very strict time for checking in and out, no flexibility at all, which was quite disappointing after staying there for many times and for many weeks, in the last few years.

Simply the best!!!

by Ralf Dahmen from Iserlohn, Germany, 22 May 05

I come since 20 years to BKK, but this Hotel is the best value for your money. Very comfortable, clean, very big rooms with Stereo and DVD. Excellent breakfast. Only be careful if you want check out later than 12.00am. They will charge you 1,600 Bath for 6 hour more. Call your agent and pay only 775 Bath.

AWESOME AND HAPPY STAY. RECOMMENDED FOR BANGKOK VISITORS.

by SIMON LIN KOK LEONG from SINGAPORE, 27 Jun 05

I'm very pleased with the excellent services at CentrePoint Petchaburi. The staff service provided was fast, prompt, courteous and very well above professional in hotel services. In one busy morning while waiting the lifts to the Facility Level where the breakfast is served, the lift is full when I step in. Surprisingly, one of the staff in the lift graciously allow me to stand in his place. This is very courteous and I believe everyone in the lift thinks the same.

Overall, I enjoy my stay and I rated it as above class for the room size is good, the air-con is superbly well maintained. Room service was prompt. This is the best place to stay for 3 of my visits to Bangkok and will certainly come back and recommend my friends to come.

About the location, it's a short 20mins slow pace walk to Isetan and Big C. 15mins walk to Ratchatewi BTS Station which makes my trip to MoChit Station very fast. I'd actually saved a lot of money by taking the airport bus which stops at Indra Regent Hotel which is a very convenient taxi ride (35baht) to/from CentrePoint Petchaburi.

Another plus point is that the apartment room is fully equipped with a fridge, a quality DVD hi-fi stereo and a 29" flat TV. It also makes my sleepless night very well served with free rental DVDs (available at the recep), which I had borrowed movies for 4 nights of my stay.

AWESOME AND HAPPY STAY. RECOMMENDED FOR BANGKOK VISITORS.

Excellent value for money

by rich_jan from Singapore, 26 Jul 05

Our stay was great and we enjoyed the hotels facilities. The room was very nice with a view over the city. If we go back to Bangkok we will definitely stay here again. The hotel is 10 mins walk to the sky train and walking distance to MBK shopping center.

What a Bargain!

by Paul Cooper from Bristol, UK, 10 Jul 05

A truly enjoyable experience. I stayed here at the start and finish of my visit to Thailand. My second visit was only booked after I had "test driven" CentrePoint Petchburi at the start of my visit to Thailand.

I have stayed at many properties in Bangkok from family run guest houses to the top 5* hotels such as the Shangri-la, Banyan Tree and JW Marriott and CentrePoint Petchburi wins hands down when it comes to value for money.

Studio's are large, bright and clean and very, very quiet. Nice pool with decking and a good wholesome breakfast included in the price. Skytrain is 7-10 mins walk away and a taxi at night will cost no more than 40 Baht to Sukhumvit for example.

A few restaurants nearby but not in abundance. Pratunam market almost on your doorstep and cheap electronics across the road at the Pantip Plaza. Pleasant staff who upgraded me to a corner studio with kitchen on my second visit.

At 1,550 BHT will be returning here later this year.

This place is GREAT!!

by Javier from Singapore, 1 Aug 05

Once the taxi drove us into the hotel, we were surprised, because it looked so clean and elegant! Our room is BIG! We had a free upgrade and got a kitchen! There are 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 TVs, 1 DVD player! And the scenery is great! Location is not too bad either. There are some hair saloons (which I had my hair treated for a cheap 500 Baht) and a BK and Swensens (which we went twice)! A short 10 min walk to BTS. Taxi and Tuk-tuk(which we did not take) were always waiting outside the hotel. Nice place!! Highly recommended for a memorial getaway!!
