Reasonable price, reasonable quality

by Freda from Singapore, 21 Aug 06

Waiting for the lift was long as one of the lift breakdown. However, we are delighted to find that the rooms are huge and spacious. It is very clean and i think its good for the price that we paid. The location was near to the wholesale shopping. Recommended for the price.

Poor lift service

by Mdm Low from Malaysia, 1 Sep 06

Good location; very near to Pratunam market. Rooms were clean, nice and big. However, the lift service was a major problem. Only 1 working lift to service 30 floors! And very slow too. And when we were there the swimming pool was under renovation until end Sept 06; which was an upset for our kids.

We enjoyed every minute in Bkk!!

by SS Low from M'sia, 5 Sep 06

The room was really big and comfortable. However, like the rest who complained about the lift service, we were quite surprised & disappointed to find that one of the lifts was under maintenance still (seemed forever!).

Location was great as we could walk everywhere from the hotel. Platinum Mall is about 5 mins walk, the newly renovated Central (World Trade) is 10 mins away & Siam Square/MBK is about 20 mins away.

We'd definitely come back to stay at Centre point. And let's hope the hotel would do something about the lifts fast!!

Good value

by John Alexander from Perth Western Australia, 31 Oct 06

The swimming pool and spa were great the staff was very friendly and let us four men jump around and have fun in the pool.

We used the gym it is a bit small, but the four of us had a great workout as we were the only ones using it.

I would recommend this hotel to friends

The lifts are very slow.

Overall is OK

by LIM LAY CHANG from SINGAPORE, 18 Dec 06

For the American breakfast buffet, I was approached by your staff that my child need to pay because her height is over 110cm. As was told by the receptionist during check in, child is free. Staff should be well trained and knowledgeable before approaching customer.

Good Location

by Yvonne from Singapore, 16 Oct 06

Stayed from Oct 7 - 11, 2006. The Twin bed room is huge. It has 2 queen size beds. Can fit 4 persons or a whole family. We got a smoking room at level 7 and the smell was horrible. For non-smoker, better ask for a non-smoking room at the first place.

In the last day of our stayed, the lifts has FINALLY been fixed. I wonder how long can it work !!!! Now they operate with 3 lifts. Swimming Pool is now open for use.

This place is a shopping heaven. Just right outside the apartment there are IT Mall, Pratunam Wholesale Center and Pratunam Market. I spend all my 3 days shopping and I couldn't have enough of it. It is much better than going to Patpong night market, Chatuchat market or Siam Square because the prices here are at wholesales price. The catch is that you must buy 3 pieces. If you are good at bargaining, sometimes, you can get one piece with the wholesales price.

Food are easy to get. Just a few steps away from the apt. there are swensen and Burger Kind. Food courts are available in all Shopping centers. No problem in finding food at this location.

Distance from New Airport to this place is about 30 - 40 min without jam. Cost 260 - 270 Baht inclusive of 50 Baht airport service charge and 25 Baht toll.

Renovation ongoing

by Simon from Singapore, 5 Sep 06

Overall the stay was good, Location is not too bad as we took a taxi through the stay. I think it is under renovation, our corridor was like under ronvation with old carpet and the lift was under renovation too. We had our pipe in the toilet burst during the last 2nd day. But they got it fixed when we return to the hotel room. Breakfast was ok, But swimming pool was under renovation too!! perhaps if you go in a few months time it would be great

Will come back again !

by TERESA WONG from Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia, 29 Sep 06

Lovely room and a very nice hotel but very strict time for checking in and out, no flexibility.

Our room facing main road a bit noisy during night time.

The apartment room is fully equipped with a fridge, a quality DVD hi-fi stereo and a 29" flat TV.

Only 2 elevators serving the entire 30+ floors of residence causing a very long wait for the lift to come and always full.

Not much selection for the breakfast.

Overall is good.

Together with my Family members we will visit again.

by Kuan Fu Fatt David from Singapore, 16 Oct 06

I was introduced from one of my friend to stay at yr hotel & frankly, I would say it is convenient. Hotel room is clean & I like the small kitchen net to give a feel like staying at home. In term of service, I would say good but can be improved.

Feedback: I'm in the queue (2nd in queue) & only one staff attended the first guest & there are 2 staff (are aware there's queue) sitting doing their work & If we talk about SERVICE, staff should immediately approach guest to avoid queue & best if you can check in guest w/o delay because I believe guest will be tired after taking their 2 hrs or more hrs flight. Coffee/tea provided at the lobby which is great idea.

Lastly, I'm visiting Bkk again & will still stay at yr hotel cos overall to me is great = GOOD!!
Cheers.

Good value for money despite location; will return

by Anthony Bird from Stevenage, 17 Nov 06

Liked the studio room layout. Pool smallish compared to Sukhumvit and Silom Centerpoint branches but OK for sun bathing and a quick dip.

Buffet breakfast good with reasonible options.

Not worried by deposit on room, it is an apartment block not an hotel!

Only downside was the slightly out of th way location but its only 10 minutes walk to nearest BTS and to Central World.

As always with an apartment you get a much bigger/better equipped accommodation than at an hotel for the same price but you don't get the same level of support (tour desk, bars, shops) as you would in a hotel.
