Would go back again

by Anonymous from Australia, 28 Sep 05

The staff were really helpful and friendly. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment.

The cleanest bathroom I've seen in a Bangkok hotel.

As the location is nearby main roads, the traffic noise could disturb some people.

The restaurant/room service was great. Good variety.

Gorgeous room!

by Wayne Gillespie from UK, 29 Oct 05

We have just stayed in the Centre Point Saladaeng for 4 nights. The room was really nice with kitchen. We could even enjoy cooking and having a special dinner in room. The DVD in room made our stay fantastic. Although this place is rather small if compared with others hotels nearby, we still love its and we felt like home. Only one thing to complain is the maid should provide a full set of amenities everyday. My girlfriend got only 1 shower cap for 4-night stay!

We plan to come back next year!

Will Book Again!

by craig boden from Sydney, Australia, 3 Jan 06

Stayed here for a week in November. Very comfortable, very clean apartments with everything you need for a very pleasant stay, bigger than my apartment in Sydney! Nice little pool and gym. Good breakfast in the restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location for Silom, Suan Lum Night Bazaar, Lumphini Park and Skytrain.

Very enjoyable experience!

by Anonymous User, 9 Jan 06

My friend and I recently spent several nights @ Centre Point Saladaeng. We had 2 1 bedroom units side-by-side. Both of us were extremely happy with the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the service, and the convenience of the location. We cooked in the room several times and even did a small BBQ out on the balcony. The separate living room with sofa provides plenty of room for relaxing or for having a couple of friends over too! Both of us also really enjoyed the thoughtful design and layout of the rooms - especially the bathroom with the all-in-one enclosed shower / tub (and even a small outdoor planter area!) The DVD/CD/VCD player was also a welcome surprise, and the thick concrete walls seemed to provide good soundproofing between rooms.

During our first 3 nights, we stayed in Tower A; then returned a few days later after a short trip to Pattaya and stayed in Tower B. I did not notice any significant difference in the two - the layouts in the 1 bedroom units differ only slightly in their orientation.

The front desk were quite helpful in accommodating our requests to extend our stay, as well as to accommodate new bookings and making sure we could get 2 rooms together on the same floor. The food and staff at the free breakfast buffet were both excellent, and although I only ordered one other time in the evening from the restaurant, it too was very good. The menu provided a wide range of choices to suit most taste-buds.

All in all, Centre Point Saladaeng provided us with a very pleasant stay, and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic Hotel, Value and Location

by Matt from Melbourne, Australia, 23 Feb 06

I stayed at the Centre Point Saladaeng just recently for 8 days and enjoyed every minute of it. I had a 1 bedroom apartment and was amazed at the size and facilities.

The only bad thing I can say is that the pool is a bit small... everything else was great.

Although the location is a little distance from the BTS Sky Train its a small walk.

Also a Taxi to Silom (Silom Road) is only 35-50 Baht... which is nothing really.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

When Only the Best Will Do!

by Theo from Irvine, CA, 22 Jul 06

This is my first time staying at Center Point due to a recommendation from a friend. I like it a lot. It is the best alternative to busy hotel lobbies. I will not only use it next time I am in Thailand, I will definitely recommend to anyone who needs privacy when he/she travels. Center Point gets a perfect STAR from me.

Recommendable!

by Herwin Rizal from Indonesia, 31 Jul 06

I enjoyed my two days stay at Saladaeng very much. There's no doubt about cleanliness (as it's also new), hospitality, and also location wise (as my office is just 5 minutes walking distance). I booked 1 bedroom apartment and was very happy with what the room provided: living room, fully furnished kitchen, bedroom, eating table, and bathroom.. all you need to feel like home.

However, I'm rather disappointed with the swimming pool (small with less privacy), provision of bath soaps (only given once), and choice of menu for breakfast. For the last two items, I truly believe the management can do better than that.

Nevertheless, despite of some impairing points above, I'm a happy customer and would recommend Centre Point Saladaeng as a good-value-for-your money accommodation in Bangkok.

Great room and location

by Gui from Paris, 8 Sep 06

We had a great 2 night stay here. Perfect location, near metro station Lumphini (200 meters) and BTS station Saladaeng (400m). Also right next to night market Suan Lum where you can buy good quality items and eat authentic food while listening and watching live pop music.

Our 1 bedroom appartment was totally clean and comfortable, well designed and furnished with balcony. Nice (though very small) swimming pool in front of the reception. Excellent breakfast buffet. The place seem to fit to japanese people. We would definitely come back.

Will stay here again next time.

by Philip Eastwood from London, 1 Dec 06

Great alternative to staying in a hotel. The amount of space in the 1 bed apartment was very good indeed. The kitchen and bathroom were of very high standard. Free internet access in the bedroom via my laptop was very welcome.

They really are nice modern and clean apartments that are a pleasure to stay in.

Location is pretty good - I went out in Silom a couple of nights and managed to walk there quite easily. The taxi driver from the airport however did not know where the place was, and I ended up having to find my way from Saladaeng Skytrain Station.

I love the location

by Suzanna from Hong Kong, 7 Mar 08

I like the security man always smile with us. Counter help. The location is perfect, quiet and private feel. Breakfast ok.

Dislike: No tv, music chanel. Better with music function.

Generally I like this hotel.
