The hotel is really marvellous. It has great location if you are interested in shopping. Pantip Plaza , IT City, Big C are near by. There are many other malls also near by. Staff is really cooperative. It will have sweet memories in our life.

Nice hotel perfectly situated for shopping spree's. Especially if your into computers Pantip Plaza is only a couple of meters away.

The decoration of the rooms could be a bit more tastefully but for that price! hey who cares,a nd it's clean!

We stayed in the newer tower wing. The room is spacious, enough for a couple and 2 children. Location is very convenient, just 10 minutes away from the nearest BTS station. Close to food outlets and convenient stores. In the proximity of Bangkok's shopping belt. Housekeeping service is good. Overall it was a pleasant stay for us and we look forward to staying in the hotel again.

The hotel does not seem very impressive from the outside, but the inside is really comfortable, clean and an excellent value for money.

We stayed in the Tower Wing and had no reason to complain; just the opposite. Convenient location to many markets, including IT City, old town etc.

Overall is good but only the housekeeping that i would like to mention is whenever they clean up our room they didn't sweep or mop the toilet floor and for breakfast. But of course I will still choose First Hotel for my next trip.

Enjoy my stay. Good service very helpful staff. Room can be improve. But I stay in the old part off the hotel. Looking forward to return for my next holiday.See you in November 2008

The counter staff provided prompt and efficient service with a smile, very willing to attend to queries. Hotel is 5mins walk to Pantip Plaza (you can find all sorts of computer products there), and 10mins to Ratchathewi BTS station, very convenient.

I stayed in the Tower Wing with nice view of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Room was generally clean but air conditioning along the corridor could be improved. Breakfast menu should be changed everyday. Overall it was value for money, I would consider staying in First Hotel on my next visit.

I stayed at the First Hotel In December and enjoyed it. The rooms are clean (nothing disappeared). The maid was competent and the service good. It's a pity that the first line the reception has some ladies working their that think they need not be friendly to visitors especially ladies. One in particular was sullen and rude unhelpful and not suited to the position. They speak little English and seem to think they need not. In the city of smiles where I found the most charming and delightful and was shown kindness by everyone I met, its a pity that the one receptionist in particular was so unfriendly and unhelpful.
The internet is non existent although they say they have one it was never working.

Now the Bell hop is a delightful fellow always ready with a smile and ready to help speaks English and without him we would have been lost. I hope they pay him well!!!

The Breakfast although plenty gets boring as its the same food each day. Its clean and plentiful.

The air conditioning is super in the rooms but leek into the door ways of most of the rooms and the carpets were spoilt by the wetness which made the otherwise great hotel look tatty.

The laundry done at the hotel is exceptionally expensive so try elsewhere.

The tea room downstairs have half priced goodies fresh and tasty after 6.30 in the evening.

All in all I would recommend the hotel and if a receptionist is unfriendly report it to the manager which is exactly what I am going to do on my next trip. Perhaps he can train the lady to be more friendly and less sulky.

Its within walking distance of many markets malls and the sky train is nearby. Just ask the bell hop.

Nothing special; not so good and not so bad. The location of hotel is good and convenient. But, the outside view (looking from window of Tower wing) is not beautiful. The service is normal, nothing special. The room is OK.

I stay there before, I'm kind of disappointed that the room that they gave us (the toilet sink was dirty and got problem), but overall OK ... hopefully they will fix the problem because I'm planning to stay there again for my next trip.
