I'll stay again.

by Anonymous User from Portland, OR, 22 Jan 07

The Grand Inn Come Hotel looks fairly new. It is clean, quiet and ideally located near the airport. If you want a reasonably priced place to stay close to the airport (~15 minute cab ride) you couldn't do better.

Great value - close to the neew airport.

by Anonymous user from Park City, UT, 8 Feb 07

Great location to the new Bangkok airport! The rooms are good and the food is okay. Perfect for the early morning departure. Excellent dollar value. If you are looking for a regular massage, don't use their service.

Short stay

by John from Townsville, Australia, 9 Mar 07

Stayed for one day March 2007, as had 17 hour wait for connecting flight. Picked up by hotel minibus, good clear sign, unlike some of the handwritten types held up by other drivers at airport. Hotel in fairly ordinary area on main road, but good for access to airport, about 10 minutes away, and considering how close it is to road and airport runway, I found it quiet.

Booked superior single, was given twin, room was large and cool. Only fault I found was shower head did not fit wall mounting, making water spray direction a bit interesting. Breakfast OK, did not eat any other meals there, but the prices for light meals seemed good. Was offered taxi (return) to city centre for 1,000 baht, not sure if this was a good price, but there are plenty of the open back buses passing hotel if you want to try that transport.

I'd have no problem staying here again if I had a long wait. Staff, especially the porters and drivers, were excellent, and very polite.

Bangkok hotel

by stephanie from London, 24 Feb 07

Ideal location for the airport, only 10 mins away. Taxi cost me 100 Bath each way. The double room I had was really spacious, very good standard, very clean and quiet. Perfect for a stopover during flights. Dinner at the restaurant was ok, and apart from all the 'girlies' waiting for punters at the bar, this hotel is very good.

Basic hotel close to airport.

by ll, 23 Feb 07

Basic hotel in the middle of nowhere but close to airport. Room was clean, service average. If you need to stay one night at Suvarnabhumi airport this is ok. However, their airport transfer was overpriced (200 THB), better to take taxi.

Good enough for an inexpensive layover.

by Celo S. from Vancouver, Canada, 11 Mar 07

We stayed there twice in three weeks. It was a central location to stay for a night while waiting for connecting flights. They picked us up right from the airport and 10 minutes later we were at the hotel. The location makes it a great place to lay your head down for a night and to take a quick shower.

Although, we normally stay in relatively posh hotels, but given that we only had a 10 hour layover, there was no point to pay for a luxurious hotel. Therefore, this was fine for the layover and we were able to overlook a lot of the little details... bad breakfast, and a less than impeccably clean room, in the middle of no where (45 minutes - 2 hours from downtown, depending on traffic at a cost of about 400 - 500 Baht).

Would recommend it for only a one night stay.

Good Airport

by Juliane Charrett, 22 Feb 07

As a transit hotel close to the new airport, this hotel is ideal. The rooms are basic but clean and acceptable. Breakfast is quite limited compared to other hotels in Southeast Asia. The hotel shuttle to the airport is convenient and reliable.

Good place to wait for a plane connection

by Bernd Abtmaier, 29 Jan 07

The staff friendly very helpful and efficient. The food in the restaurant is good the breakfast not much to talk about. The location is good but only for the airport connection. There is a mini mart opposite in the petrol station and a few small restaurants along the street.

I would stay in this place again if I had to go to the airport the next morning.

Good, cheap airport hotel

by Anonymous user from Melbourne, Australia, 10 Mar 07

We stayed at the Grand Inn Come twice and chose it for convenience - as we had two early morning flights out of Bangkok. The location is great - costs about 70-80 Baht to get to the airport and around 300 Baht to MBK.

The rooms were large and clean, but the beds were really hard! All the employees we dealt with were very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel if you require easy access to the airport.

Great for stopovers

by Stephen from Australia, the best country in the world, 29 Jan 07

Good location, a 230 Baht trip in a metered taxi from the airport including the airport surcharge, Hotel was Ok, a typical 3 star. We were there for a stop over and would not suggest it for more than 24 hours as its in the middle of nowhere but close to the airport. Brekky ok, all the usual bits and pieces.

The hotel offers a 200baht one way minibus service to the airport which could save even more. Beds ok but only twins available for our stay so specify if you are picky.
