Thank you

by Johnson from USA, 9 Jan 08

Thank you for the wonderful service at your hotel. All of the staff were extremely polite and helpful ... exquisite Thai hospitality! I think your shuttle service to and from the airport is particularly helpful and a big selling point for exhausted international travelers.

The Internet service, however, seemed expensive and a bit awkward. That aside, I think your hotel served me very well. Thank you.

Good location, nice staff

by Sarah Handley from Thailand, 9 Dec 07

Great location for new airport, helpful staff. Breakfast ok. All in all, fine for a night or two if you need to be near the airport, otherwise, a little far out from town & need to catch taxis as no nearby BTS stn. Would recommend (for above reasons).

Good Hotel

by TK from TOKYO, Japan, 26 Nov 07

I've stayed 24 Nov. 2007 at room No. is 504.

Room is clean and large, staff are friendly and kindness. A.P. send and pick up service are valuable.

Bad point
A little noisy it's a car or airplane engine.

Nice stay, but be careful with the taxi drivers

by J.Ho from Macau, 4 Nov 07

The Hotel is a little old, but very near to the airport. Valuable and convenient for one night stay for transit. I stayed in a superior room, that was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was reasonable.

I took a taxi from the 4th floor of the airport (departure floor). I asked the driver (showing a photo of the Hotel and the address) if he know where is Grand Inn Come Hotel, and he said "Yes!". Then the price, he asked me 500 Baht, but I knew that the price is around 200, and I lowered the price to 100. He started running on the airport highways, but seems doesn't know where is the hotel. I suggested to ask some body, he didn't hear me... then I asked him to call to the Hotel, and he said that he didn't have mobile !!! I offered to call with my cellphone, and he suggested another hotel... I rejected and told him that I paid the room already, then suddenly he "remember" where is the hotel and made an U-turn, just in 5 min, I arrive in Grand Inn Come.

The day after, I paid 150 baht for a taxi to airport from the hotel.

My choice in Bangkok

by Anonymous User from Martha's Vineyard, MA, USA, 1 Nov 07

I have stayed at the Grand Inn Come Hotel three or four times a year for the last three years. For my purposes, being near the new airport, offering a good rental rate with attractive rooms, and employing helpful and cheerful people, the Grand is grand.

The hallways could benefit from better lighting, but if that happened, then the less than pristine carpeting would be a negative. Most importantly, the rooms are clean, spacious, and well furnished. Ask for a room on the right side toward the back. I wholeheartedly recommend the Grand Inn Come Hotel. AtSiam.com offered the best rate.

Not bad for the money

by Mi Tasol from USA / PNG, 15 Aug 07

It was nice to have the pick-up service a midnight. The guy was there for me. Room was nice and clean. I was surprised it was a nice as it was. It is a long way from downtown, so it takes awhile in a taxi to get there.

Best value for transit

by Rahmi Yunita from Jakarta, Indonesia, 14 Aug 07

When you spend a short night transitting in Bangkok you would expect a place close to Suvarnabhumi with good value, and I find no comparison to Grand Inn Come Hotel! I even have a good view from my room to the airport. The staff really represents the Thai hospitality...

An excellent transit hotel.

by Bernard J Ivory from Rotorua NZ, 2 Jul 07

Airport pickup service makes the place and the value - only 10 mins and B200/- per pax RT, but you have to look carefully for your name amongst the throng of placards!

I don't think they tell you that the complimentary water is on the top of the frig, not inside!

On the whole, better value for money than equivalent properties were near Don Muang for transit pax.

I wish I never had been there

by Pareena Detritthikun and Ulf A. uffea@yahoo.se from Sweden and Thailand, 18 May 07

How can a hotel charge a guest 200 B for a 5 cm short tape??? I stayed there one night the May 7 and got injured on my arm. I took a piece toilet paper and asked for a tape. But 200 Baht VERY expensive! I have wrote in Swedish magazines about this "hotel" ?? Really sad....

We enjoyed our stay

by Thomas L Danielsen from USA, 1 May 07

We stayed here primarily because it is near the new international airport because we were in transit. We found it totally adequate. We did end up staying 3 nights in a row unexpectedly and we were far from the goings on in Bangkok. The tour person at the hotel was most helpful in arranging things for us to do and lining up a wonderful driver. We recommend this hotel. The tour guide at the hotel is Mr. Boonlert Phosri and the driver was Thongsuk Sornsiri (Tel 086-0994990) He speaks pretty good English and is very friendly.
