Proud of Centre Point

by Surasit Sirikitputthisak from Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, 20 Nov 07

This is the best shot from Centre Point. Breakfast is prepared from Coffee Bean restaurant. Seeing Bangkok city view from your bed. Luxury facility floor. What I hope is that the room rate is not increased in the near future after the grand opening.

I don't want to go home

by Annoymous User from Asia, 12 Dec 07

I like this hotel because it was very comfortable. The bed was nice and soft, the soap in the toilet smells very nice and the service was very good. The lobby was very pretty and the swimming pool was a nice place. Although the rooms didn't have any tea bags or 3 in 1 coffee packets, the hotel was still nice. It was a very nice hotel.

Highly recommended

by Shaliin Koh from Selangor, Malaysia, 11 Mar 08

My Husband and I recently stayed at this hotel from 6th. to 9th.March, 2008 and I will definitely come back to stay at this hotel again next year. The hotel is conveniently located in between Hyatt Erawan and Four Seasons hotel. Walking distance to Gaysorn Plaza, Central World Plaza, Big C and also Paragon mall. Furthermore, this hotel is brand new. Room features are excellent with very nice and clean bathroom. I like everything about this hotel including the buffet breakfast and the Spa located at 8th. floor.

We didn't want to leave!!

by K. Mangold from Germany, 13 Feb 08

Very new 5-star hotel. The rooms are decorated very tastefully. The pool-area is very nice, only the building-site on the neighborhood is noisy. Breakfast is good value for money. We felt very much at home there.

We were quite reluctant to leave the room? :P

by M & A from Singapore, 14 Apr 08

(Staff): Concierge speaks good English and got our requests attended to efficiently. Bell boy was very helpful in getting us a cab to the airport on the day of our departure, cautioning us not to pay more than 300 bahts for our trip (good touch!).

(Location): Although it is hidden from the main road, the proximity to the nearby amenities is almost negligible. We were able to walk to the Erawan Shrine, Central World Plaza and Siam Paragon too. A 5 minutes walk took us to Rajdamri BTS, and we took the BTS to MBK which was just 2 stops away. However, there were no convenient stores and eateries after 10pm at this hotel, so we had supper at Four Seasons Hotel on our last night there, it was just a short 100 meters walk.
(Rooms):

We chose the Deluxe Room and were wowed. It's got everything you would expect in a serviced apartment (fridge, microwave oven, electrical kettle, LCD TV, mini compo etc). The room was spick and span, the bed was very comfortable, and we got a great view of Siam from our 41st floor room. The air-con was a tad too noisy though, but we dealt with that by lowering the fan speed. As the hotel is pretty new, all the stuffs are still pretty new too. Some people might complain of light leaking through the wooden window curtains, but i think that is no big deal.

(Conclusion): The overall comfort and service level is definitely in the class of a 5 star hotel although it was priced closer to a 4 star hotel, it felt as good as home, and we have planned to book this hotel on our next trip there.

Can's wait to go back.

by Li Hiu To from Hong Kong, 30 May 08

I stayed at this hotel during 26-29 May 2008, I just loved it, the service was great, the room was so clean and user friendly, it has more than what other hotels usually provide. The bed was super comfortable, we had a great sleep all those nights. One thing was the swimming pool, since it has lots of trees around, there seems to be quite a lot of leaves in the pool all the time. This is the only thing I think they might have to do something about it.

Memorable Bangkok Stay !!

by Raymond Tan from Singapore, 7 Oct 08

I am most pleased with my stay at the Grande Centre Point. The facilities were excellent and the service were impeccable. The atmosphere at the said hotel was most relaxing. Unlike some other hotels, where we have a bad experience of Q-ing up just to have breakfast ! Over at the Grande Centre Point everything was so enjoyable and relaxing.

The room is like our home and the little kitchen is most welcome for warming up my nightly ritual snack ! I would definitely goes back there Grande Centre Point for my next visit to Bangkok !

VERY GRANDE Centre Point

by Kenneth from New York, United States, 1 Apr 08

This is my 3rd time in Bangkok and 2nd time staying at a Centre Point Apt. I stayed at Langsuan, Shangri-La and Lebua, the Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri by far is the best location.

The location is a block away from the BTS and a few blocks from the overpass that connect Century World Mall, Siam Paragon and other malls near by.

I stayed in both the 1 bedroom and the deluxe room, which the deluxe room has a larger bed, but both are just as nice. Both rooms had a excellent view of the racetrack/golf course since I was located on the 39nd and 41st floors. The outdoor pool on the 8th floor along with the gym, hot tub and movie room was nice. The breakfast at Coffee & Bean was ok with good service.

I can't say enough of this place, I will be back again, if the US dollar ever goes up again.
