Memorable Bangkok Stay !!

by Raymond Tan from Singapore, 7 Oct 08

I am most pleased with my stay at the Grande Centre Point. The facilities were excellent and the service were impeccable. The atmosphere at the said hotel was most relaxing. Unlike some other hotels, where we have a bad experience of Q-ing up just to have breakfast ! Over at the Grande Centre Point everything was so enjoyable and relaxing.

The room is like our home and the little kitchen is most welcome for warming up my nightly ritual snack ! I would definitely goes back there Grande Centre Point for my next visit to Bangkok !

Can't wait to go back

by Ng Choon Koon from Melaka, Malaysia, 9 Oct 08

I just love this hotel. I really think it is value for money considering the luxury we get to enjoy. Big bed, big Sony plasma tv, washing machine, fridge, mircrowave, iron, you name it they have it. Will definitely come back.

Good for sleep but not for breakfast!

by Christopher Moore from London, United Kingdom, 13 May 08

A lovely hotel in a nice quiet soi in the centre of Bangkok. Beautiful rooms - I was on the 40th floor with wonderful views over the city - and comfortable bed, lovely towels, etc. Excellent facilities in the room. Lovely pool, too and good other facilities.

The breakfast is a disaster area, however. The room is far too small and the choice of food and drinks for breakfast well below par. I had to queue for a table and there was a melee of people in the room all trying to get at the self-service buffet. This was a poor choice for a hotel of this quality, too.

I'd stay there again, but without the breakfast option - too much hassle and not a good start for the day.

Can's wait to go back.

by Li Hiu To from Hong Kong, 30 May 08

I stayed at this hotel during 26-29 May 2008, I just loved it, the service was great, the room was so clean and user friendly, it has more than what other hotels usually provide. The bed was super comfortable, we had a great sleep all those nights. One thing was the swimming pool, since it has lots of trees around, there seems to be quite a lot of leaves in the pool all the time. This is the only thing I think they might have to do something about it.

Well Done!!

by Cassandra Chow from Hong Kong, 15 Jul 08

From all the hotels I've been living in for all my holidays, I think this is the best hotel. There is nothing that I don't like about it and it's brilliant. For the overall rating, I rated for 4 stars because nothing is perfect and there must be always something that needs improving.

WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN

by YiHeng Lee from Taipei, Taiwan, 22 Oct 08

Room and facility is fine, but staff is terrible. After leaving Bangkok, we find we left our cellphone in the hotel when we check out. We write email to them but no response. We call them via oversea phone call, and they reply they did'nt heard anyone find a cellphone, without any investigation. I feel they don't give a damn to what happened because we already left there. I am very angry about this and would call the police if I were still there. It make my stay become a very unhappy memory. Highly UNRECOMMENDED to stay there, there are tons of hotels that have the same room and facility, but better staff.

Very Comfortable

by LIM CHIOU YI from Malaysia, 13 Jul 08

Is a very new hotel. very clean, very beautiful, very comfortable. Breakfast all taste nice, although not much choices. Have kitchen & washing machine, very convenience.

Location also not bad, just 3-5mins walk to Ratchadamri BTS station. 3-5mins walk to famous Erawan Shrine (Si Mian Fu). 8-10mins walk to Central World and Gaysorn and Big C.

The only inconvenience is hotel no provide transport, book with hotel very expensive. And pls confirm the price twice, ask them check properly! Because I book a van to airport through hotel, but when i reach airport, the price is higher a lot than they said when i booked.

Overall is good! If next time got budget again, will choose this hotel again.

Proud of Centre Point

by Surasit Sirikitputthisak from Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, 20 Nov 07

This is the best shot from Centre Point. Breakfast is prepared from Coffee Bean restaurant. Seeing Bangkok city view from your bed. Luxury facility floor. What I hope is that the room rate is not increased in the near future after the grand opening.

No reason to return

by the koos from California, 25 Nov 07

Hotel has no soul, communication is a real problem as the staff are unable to communicate and request for service is often misunderstood. Service, if any, is grudgingly provided and lacks the personal touch that makes the difference. example :- refusal to provide regular replacement of soap, no tissue paper, no fax paper although there is a fax machine, no replacement of teabags and toiletries.

Refusal to provide newspapers on daily basis. The hotel is more concerned about cutting corners and saving a penny rather than providing the hospitality that should match a so called "five star "status.
