Okay - ask for a room with a balcony!

“I asked for a superior room but got shoved in a smallish one by the lift shaft. There was no balcony either - although other superior rooms did have one I found out. I was just so tired from my flight I collapsed. It wasn't until I'd unpacked and recovered I realized my room was pretty poor. These corner cupboards should be downgraded or left empty.
Overall the hotel was pretty central to the old part of the city and they did offer a free tuk tuk ride to the Khosan road. The pool was okay, but outside by the road. Geeone the nepalese tailor is good, the internet connection ok, but pricey as is the massage service there. Shop out for those two.”
