I wouldn't go back there if my life depended on it
by Alfred Teoh from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 24 Apr 07
The rooms were dirty with cockroaches running around. The sheets had questionable stains on them. My room was beside the General Manager's room. And the phone started ringing none stop at 7am in the morning with no one picking it up. Sound travels through as if there were no walls there. The lightings were very dim making it very uncomfortable to live in. I would not even consider going back there. You have been warned...

Cheap, but comes with bugs.
by Helene Minot, 23 May 05
The hotel location is not bad , and the lobby is quite nice. The rooms are very basic, and somewhat run down. They are not very clean, and there are bugs.
I was not impressed with the breakfasts either.
The massage parlor downstairs offers a lot more than traditional massage, which tends to add to the sleaziness of the place.

Old but cheap
by es-bamboo from Germany Munich, 19 Sep 05
The Manorha is a very old and cheap hotel so it`s no surprise finding what we expected. The room was cleaned every day and we got clean blankets, too. ABF was particularly uneatable and you need a real strong stomach when drinking the "special breakfast" coffee.

With some work the hotel could be superb
by Caroline Francois from Belgium, 31 Jul 06
Great location, close to the river taxis and not far from the skytrain. Staff very willing and helpful, and chambermaids obviously did their best with an ageing infrastructure: the beds and bathroom were clean, but everything was at least 10 years old and there were cockroaches! Great to have a swimming pool, but why indoors when there is a sun terrace?

Very good hotel to stay in Bangkok
by Kannan Ganesan from Chennai, India, 6 Mar 06
Manohra hotel is conveniently located with in-house travel desk and nearby 24x7 shops. Ambiance is excellent.
Hot Water could be provided round the clock in the bathroom. It was available only between 6 AM and 6 PM.
