Top Value for money, "I Shall return"

I have stayed at this hotel 9 -10 times, I have always found the staff very obliging and friendly, for those who think the rooms are not 5 * (Star) may be you should try the Peninsular Hotel next time! I find the PJ Watergate - Value for money, and I shall always return to the PJ WATERGATE.

My place from now on...

I have visited Bangkok 8 times in the last 3 years. I bring many student groups and this is my favorite location so far. The student love the proximity to the Pratunam Market, Tailors, all the stuff near the Siam area, and the Central World Plaza.

Overall the best in over 10 hotels I have used in Bangkok.

Great hotel

The hotel located in a very good area, the staff were very nice, the breakfast was great!! It was the second time we chose this hotel, and its going to be third.

Value for money

Great hotel, in the right area to get around Bangkok by foot or tuk tuk. Staff friendly and polite. Breakfast great and I would definitely stay there again or recommend it to friends.

Wonderfull place

This hotel is really comfortable and well located in the shopping area.The service is perfect and the staff is always receptive and kind at any time. It's an excellent value for money. I've definitively adopted it!

The place to be!!!

My wife and my family have been here for 3 times and i look forward to go back over and over again, the food, location and the customer service is excellent.

Don't think I'll go back

The pictures on the website is too deceiving. Rooms and facilities are old. It is very convenient if you are going to Pratunam or Baiyoke area everyday, but inconvenient if going other places. Far away from BTS

Not for me anymore

This is definitely not suitable for family with kids. More suitable for back packer staying for 1-2 nights. The staff especially from the cafe was very rude. The waitress threw the plates on tables even tell the guests off when they did not put the tongs in designated plate.

Not a recommended Hotel

I did a lot of research on budget hotel before going for PJ Watergate. My first choice was another hotel but it was fully booked. This is a no choice resort as I wanted to stay in Pratunam as I am familiar with the place. It was quite a bad experience. Smelly lift.

Only 3 stories with little guest. Room was run down & small for Bangkok standard. The room was smaller than those Hong Kong budget hotel. Air-con sometimes cold & warm. Water is not hot & the shower cable is too short for a 1.68m tall man.

Breakfast is limited but small changes her & there so nothing to complain. Free 2 bottles of water everyday but no kettle for boiling hot water. Asking for hot water will cause you 20 Baht. I do not have high standard as I am only looking for a budget hotel like hotel 81 in Singapore. Honesty, its quite a pathetic little inn. Little Taxis know the place. They keep thinking it's Amari Watergate.
