Not so good the second time around
by Shaun from Australia, 8 Dec 06
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but still not as good as my previous stay.
My hot water was not consistent and the shower did not have any pressure, was very frustrating and was hard to communicate this to staff who were unable to fix it.
Will be trying somewhere different next time in Bangkok...

Can stay if you don't mind
by G from SG, 6 Feb 07
The deluxe room that I booked was pretty small so it's not that comfortable, the shower has no power at all that it can make you feel like you didn't take any. So just forget about a good shower after a hot sweaty day outside, and there is no closet doors too! The TV reception was quite bad beside HBO of which the picture was acceptable but not that clear either. I moved to another bigger room (Executive room, top up almost 1K Baht/night) the next day, the room was much more spacious but TV reception is still the same but slightly better for Cable TV programe. (but not many channels to choose from) The shower was much better with bathtub and with a bigger area.
All in all, if you book from agency, it's definitely cheaper but the price you get for the deluxe room, I think it's a little too high. Executive room is better!
I would choose this hotel only for executive room and if i can't find any others.

Good location but bad furnishing in the room...
by Anonymous User from Singapore, 4 Oct 07
Most of the staff are willing and friendly except for one lady. Every time when I'm at the counter looking for attention, she can see you but she ignores you, until you say "hi or excuse me". And when she attended to you, she gives you one kind of stare. But when my boyfriend stand at the counter, she smiled so gracefully and ask him if he need help. Weird lady who only attend to man...
Location is superb! You won't feel bored when you're back to the hotel, as the night market, Patpong, it's just right at the door step. Money changer and shopping centres is just around. BTS is very near as well.
The furnitures looks old, thus looks a little dirty but when you feel it, it's actually clean. The cupboard is just like a shelf cause it has no doors so I've to put my clothes in the luggage then the luggage into the cupboard. T.T The deluxe room is small but I'm fine with that. The bad thing is that it doesn't have carpet flooring and the tiles are really cold in the air-conditioned room that I couldn't get my feet stand still on the floor especially when I'm out from a hot bath. Anyway, I love the toilet, it's normal furnished but it's really clean. The TV satellite has very limited channels and the reception seemed very weak. It's located in silom, so price is considered valuable. Will be back again for the super convenient location! :)

Slightly better now
by Anonymous User from Canada, 15 Apr 08
Rooms rates are not too wise for the standard of the rooms. Without the carpets on the floor we feel so cold after a shower while walking to the dressing table. Maybe they should have a bigger door mat outside the bathroom instead.

Excellent Location for Shopping and Clubbing
by Sazali, 9 Aug 06
Clubs & bars are within the vicinity as well.
Friendly staff, quite fast service, no kettle inside the room, have to ask for the staff to send in hot water.
