What u pay is what u get..

by Jolene from Singapore, 3 Nov 08

Not advisable for gals to stay alone as it's located in 1 of the small lanes and it can be quite dark n deserted at nite.

Lift is very small, think can only accommodate 5 ppl. u have to hold on to the close button till it closes or the lift door will re-open again.

The shower water sometimes might suddenly turn cold and u got to wait for it to turn warm again. Bath tub some parts were peeled off, can see the rustyness. Shower curtain was quite dirty..

Aircon temperature can't be adjusted, it's just off or on.
Too cold for me that I got to ask for extra blanket.

Lights flicker at times, bed too soft, Furniture old, some broken.

Dun waste yr $ eating at the hotel's restaurant, food sucks and portion is small.

Overall, if u are not the fussy kind, tis hotel is ok to just slp and rest for the nite.

We can walk to the city!!!

by yavas murtaza from Germany, 21 Aug 05

The one and only little problem for us, was the small room for 3 people. The Service was very friendly, the Breakfast great. And it was very near to the city only few minutes. Best location.

Okay for the price I guess but not exactly inspiring. On the plus side, the breakfast wasn't bad, and there was no noise from the street. It was a short walk to the Skytrain, the staff were mostly quite helpful and the entrance area had a nice outdoor deck for relaxing, as well as an internet cafe.

On the negative side, the room was a bit worn and the window faced out onto a concrete industrial looking wall a few metres away - no natural light really. Also the air conditioning produced very loud white noise.

Essentially it's an okay place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep and don't intend to hang out at the hotel a lot.

Rooms rundown not like advertised on net. Beware!!

by francelle from Queensland, Australia, 14 May 06

The 2 bedroom suite was very rundown, Parketry floor had pieces gouged out and missing. The walls were all marked, the air conditioning vents were about to fall from the roof and the furniture was stained.

The beds were also old and the springs could be felt whilst lying down. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The restaurant and breakfast was quite good.

Air conditioning although in poor condition worked well. The hotel was in a fairly good location to wholesale clothing market. BTS rail was about 8 minute walk.

Value for $ vs Luxury

by Xtan from Singapore, 15 May 06

Our 2 bedroom suite is really big, room was pleasantly clean enough. We find the furnishing a bit old thought. Not much comment about service as we did not ask for any (we were out the whole day! we were there for shopping and not to enjoy room service).

Location is good : 2 mins walk to Pratunam and 6 mins walk to Asia Hotel Skytrain station. Overall we are satisfied. i would say it is value for $ as the room rate is cheap. There are better hotels nearby BUT then...you would have to pay more.

First Encounter.....

by Mike Yau from Singapore, 7 Mar 06

The furnishing and the room was rather old. The receptionist was the only staff who can speak good English. Overall staffs were friendly. The location is easily accessible to lots of shopping centres, eg Platinum Fashion Mall, formal World Trade Centre, MBK, etc. The restaurant downstairs close very early so do order food earlier if you can.

If you are looking for a resting place for the night, this can be a value for money place to stay in. I will consider coming back again, or maybe ??

I will be back

by Mark from Singapore, 31 Jul 06

The furnitures are pretty old and dirty, the beds are too soft and no room service after 11pm. The place is located near to the shopping areas and walking distance to the subway. Overall value for money as it is cheap.

Value for money

by Mazz from Singapore, 18 Apr 06

The rooms are ok, I like the apt better. Maid service is dissapointing, I still see my ashtray and bin not cleared, they even forget to put in fresh bath towel on one of the days. Room service should be 24hrs, we had to walk to a nearby hotel to get supper in the middle of the night. 2 keys should be provided for the 2-bdrm apt, if some of us come back in the middle of the night, we dont have to disturb our friends who are aleady sleeping.

The buffet breakfast is ok, however, more variety would be much appreciated. All in all, its worth the cost.
