Kitchnet without facilities.

by Mahfoor Bin Harron from N.Sembilan, Malaysia, 20 Nov 08

Location is its strongest point. Its close to BTS station, walking distance to shopping areas, except that its a little off the main road. I stayed in a 2 bed room apartment ment for family. There was a kitchnet complete with hot stove and a few plates. Would have been better if the hotel could provide facilities for coffee making ( an electric cattle will do). My request for hot water was responded with them asking me to personally go down to the restaurant, borrow a flask filled with hot water every time the need arise. That's room service Thai style?.
The corridors leading to the room was badly lighted, improvement is badly needed here.

Breakfast was uninspiring. Juices were laden with sugar. My request for plain water went unheeded. The waitress couldn't understand even a simple English. Management should look into this minor details which could meant a lot for us travelers/guest.

Nice

by Phoebe Tan from KL, Malaysia, 10 Jun 05

The 2 bed room suite is really value for money, nice comfy apartment, just a minute walk to Pratunum, the breakfast is good, but the building and rooms really needs some renovation.

May consider to return

by Bangkok Siao Kok from Singapore, 13 Jul 05

Stay twice at The Residence Rajtaevee this year. First in a two bedroom suite which was spacious and pretty comfy, only furnishings are little worn-out. Second in a single room which furnishings are really old and paint is peeling off the walls. Need some renovations in rooms, esp deluxe ones.

But lastly location is pretty good and extremely value for money.

Real value for $$$

by Darren from Singapore, 21 Aug 05

This is a small hotel with basic facilities. I took the 2-bedroom suite. Rooms were superb but the only downside was the water heater was not consistent with occasionally hot and cold. Not easy to locate the hotel though and my advise is to tell the taxi driver to stop opposite First Hotel or at Indonesia Embassy. The sky train is about 10 mins walk. Well for the price that I paid it is really value for money.

Very good

by rubert from belgium, 12 Jan 06

The room is too big (apartment) and clean. Good place for shopping. Very central. It's not a very big hotel. The breakfast is good. There is a nice restaurant with a terrece. We'll come back.

Location Location Location!

by Masjedah from Singapore, 22 Dec 05

What can I say - Location Location Location!!! To the left - 10 mins walk is MBK and all the shopping complex you could ask for. To the right - 5 mins walk is Pratunam market and all the little stalls you can spend hours meandering through.

The room itself is basic but hey, what do you expect for the price?!!? Everything you need is there. COOL!

Awesome Hotel

by Edmund from Singapore, 24 Dec 05

Simply awesome place...will stay there if I go back to Bangkok again...the family suites are real value for money for 4 persons and up...spacious, clean, good air-con temperature though hotel might seem to be old on the outside. It has a cosy feeling and the location couldn't be any better...the staffs are superbly helpful too and they speak good English.

Will be Back..

by sfchan from Singapore, 4 Jul 06

First of all, the room that we stayed is room 115. The condition of the room and toilet are clean, flooring is good and it is not what we read from the previous reviews' condition.

For more detail, it is opposite Bangkok Business College (our taxi driver don't know the location of the hotel). The staffs are very friendly... The only thing that we don't really like is there's only one lift and sometime you need to wait a bit longer.

I'll be back.

by zodiaccyber from Singapore, 18 Aug 06

Overall, good stays in this hotel on Aug 06. Location is good, ABF is as expected, Staffs are friendly and helpful.

There is one thing that the hotel might want to consider is the TV programme with buy video feature.

Sure b back again, wonderful experience

by azuary aka TerNaKaL from The Lion City, Causeway Bay. Singapore, 19 Aug 06

Comfy for us especially in big groups, enjoy service, very convenient. Spa, staffs, breakfast no complain. For Muslim tourist you can go to Makyah Muslim Restaurant situated at 497/16 Petchburi Rd, Rajthevi Bangkok, along The Road Beside Soi 7. From the hotel you go out to main road cross over to First Hotel and walk towards the left, is about 10mins walk. Highly Recommended
