River Side Bangkok Hotel Reviews & Ratings

The location is ideal for water taxi. The hotel urgently needs some refurbishment. Except the lobby everything is dark, old, and unventilated. The rooms are ok, but AC is incredibly loud. The service at the reception is very helpful and friendly, the service at breakfast is very bad. The worst regarding the hotel is the breakfast which doesn't deserve the name "breakfast". Fried eggs are available but cold, tea was cold as well. All other food was cold and in a very poor condition and nobody took care of anything. We would not choose this hotel again. However, with few changes it good be a good place to stay for a reasonable price.

The hotel and the rooms were clean and looked better than expected, service and especially English knowledge much worse than expected. The distance from the center was a bit too far. In generally the hotel is recommendable and nicely situated at the Riverside.

The location by the river was good. The room was furnished ok, and I slept alright. But when I woke I found that I had been sleeping on sheets with dubious looking brown stains. Was it blood, or something worse? I don't know, but I won't be going back.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for. We left feeling just that. Good value for what we paid. Except for a hard mattress and pillow no problems at all.
