Nice, quiet, and clean hotel

by James from Ontario, Canada, 3 Feb 08

I stayed at this hotel in 2007 and came back again in 2008. Its decent value for money and I would come back again. Best part is its location, and the hotel is in a fairly quiet location at the end of soi 57, so not a lot of racket around to keep you awake as I've found with a few other bangkok hotels.

I will come again

by daniel from France, 11 May 05

Many times, I go there and I found that I was expected in hotel at BKK.

Staff are very kind.
Key deposit charge of 500 bath is a lit bit annoying, but ...

Love this place enough to come back

by Anonymous User from Australia, 8 Nov 05

Good hostel on Sukhumvit , even though far form Nana but who's care!!! If you come to Thailand many times you'll know Na Na is messing. This place near Thong Lor street where's the fabulous to meet Asian/European higher class and the best night life I ever have.

Hostel is small but cool of colours room are absolutely clean except curtain . Try to get the room with the window or get Deluxe room for more comfort. No elevator but get room high floor better than lower floor because wake up call service by bird song.

Enjoy Bangkok!!

by Steven Taylor from Australia, 1 May 06

We had an enjoyable stay due to it's excellent staff. They were so helpful and very friendly, can't praise them enough for there superb service. The location is good, right near the train station and adequate enough restaurant availability. Its good value for money.

Female staff catty

by Anonymous User from Canada, 16 Aug 06

I stayed here for 2 weeks. After reading other reviews, I asked for a room on the first floor. I got one, right beside the staircase. Without fail, every night I would hear people loudly traipsing up the stairs. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom so whenever I took a shower there were puddles of water everywhere. I upgraded to the superior (?) room and only difference was a bigger bed and a mosquito net! Not much value for the money there.

Most of the female staff weren't very nice, catty even, but the male staff were really helpful and friendly, especially the security guard and cooks. The restaurant is decent and right on the property so it is great if you want something to eat and don't want to go far to get it.

Not one of the chains better hotels

by Anonymous User from Canada, 1 Sep 06

This was my third hotel I stayed at during my trip from the same chain...the others were great!

This one was cheaper and a little out of the way (not big deal). It was run more like a hostel but it's probably geared to backpackers.

I wouldn't say there are many pros as it's lower end. The breakfast is not buffet style and the quality was lower unlike the others. The girl at the desk snapped at me for reasons unknown when I checked out ... I guess she was having a bad day.

In my opinion the Woraburi is much better and it's a good idea to purchase their discount card.

Very nice and comfortable - felt rested staying here. Clean room with a big bed. Excellent value for money. Located within walking distance to shops and the Eastern Bus station. I would stay here again if I passed by.
