I will go back next time I am in Bangkok

I have stayed at the hotel several times since 2005 (even took my parents there), and I always find it to be a good value. It's conveniently located and with a price you cannot beat. Would be nice if some of the people in the reception were a bit friendlier at times, but then other staff more than make up for it. Generally good service and helpful with storing luggage etc.
Breakfast may not be exciting, but there is some variety and it gets you going. Nice too that it is included in the price.

Fair priced hotel in the middle of Bangkok.

The room is clean and spacious. Towels are changed everyday. Breakfast menu is quite monotonous but O.K
The disappoint is the T.V, though it suggest a satellite T.V the channels is limited ... so if you are planning just to relax in the room with a good movie, you are out of luck.
Apart from that the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The doorman is exceptionally polite and helpful. Overall, a fair price, clean and friendly small hotel.

Good service and good location

Overall the experience is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location, it's walking distance sky train, bus stop, convenient shop, market, hawker food, internet kiosk, Super Market etc. Lot's of local food just at the next street.
Only cons is traffic is really bad in Silom Rd.

Stay again

We've stay here a couple of time now. Its on a quiet side street. The market is 1 minutes walk. Nice staff. Good breakfast, Good room for a good price. What more do you need.

Give it a try, as a base it can't be beat.

The Silom City Inn's location is perfect for either business or just traveling through, situated just of Silom Road in a quite location, you can just about get anywhere in Bangkok, the staff are friendly, helpful and try too help in any requests you may have. I've stayed there many times and so far just can't fault the place. For the price it really is excellent.
