A place to stay again!

Silom Village Inn Bangkok is one of the best places to stay in Bangkok. With convenient location and easy access to many interesting places, the place is clean and has good value for money. Although the service staff was cold in attitude they were quick in answering any questions you have.

I think you can find something better for the same money, but overall ok!

The staff is not what you expect from Thai people. Not very nice not very helpful, they do not speak English very good. If you can, ask to to get a room in the new side of the hotel, a bit more expensive but it worth. The location is OK, close to Patpong area and 10/15 minutes to Skytrain.

Not bad

I came from Pattaya and the weather was really melting me down. I found the customer service very bad, not friendly. However, we got nice room and view (thanks to AtSiam.com!). Nice bed, nice room and nice toilet. The bad news is only hot water available while we prefer cold shower (regardless what time in Bangkok!).

Overall, hotel is very nice and authentic.

Hear me out first

If you are not the fussy type, not afraid of cockroaches, well... (I do) then this is an average hotel, nicely located near Patphong red light district. Its a real kampong feeling with modern amenities, bed is nice, only about 4 storey high, we love seafood don't we? This is the place to eat at night... I could grab last minute keychanins and knic knacks for friends at the nearby service is ok, maybe because we are fellow Asians, so the reception pays more attention to other nationals.

Otherwise, you'll survived. I would like to try other hotels should I be in Bangkok in May..

Clean good rooms with a great location close to both the BTS, the river and the night market.

Stayed at Silom village two years ago and still enjoyed the stay. Will probably stay there again next time in bangkok.

In summary I recommend this place to others!

Great Mix of Convenience, Location, and Price

Just walk out your door to good Thai dining, entertainment, and shopping. The rooms are spacious, simple, and clean. The front valet was very responsive, as was the front desk. The price can't be beat. Conveniently located to just about everything, including the SkyTrain.

Good value.

Very convenient location and good value for money. Only complaint was lack of view and light from window making the room a little dark. For the quieter rooms you need to use some stairs. Could be a problem if you have heavy luggage.

Stayed at Silom Village Inn from Jan 14-18. Tremendous value for the money ... Rooms very clean and comfortable. No view, but who needs it when out all day site seeing.

Staff pleasant, but not overly friendly. Tour director in lobby very helpful and pleasant. Location near to Sky train and boat station and also night shopping at PatPong. Will stay again for sure next visit.

Go Silom Village Inn!

Its wonderful location, in the middle of a Thai cultural village completed our Thai experience. It is also near the Surasak Skytrain station. There was the Thai cultural show & colorful lights at night. The seafood was excellent. The room was comfortable. Pleasant experience!

Nice hotel!!

You certainly made my stay a most pleasant one. I like a hotel's cafe and clean room. Suffice it to say that the sound of the air-conditioner was bit noisy. Be comparatively low in price.
