Tai-Pan Hotel Bangkok Reviews & Ratings

This hotel is located in the most convenient place to both the BTS and MRT to get easily to anywhere in Bangkok. Hotel is compact, but facilitates enough, especially free wireless Internet connection in the room.

The breakfast buffet is excellent, the room is specious, and hotel staffs are friendly. The rooms as well as whole hotel building are very clean, and they facilitate careful fire prevention system including fire extinguisher balls in the corridor and weekly fire alarm testing practice. So it is very convenient and safe to stay this hotel for the purpose of both the business and family vacation.

My only advice to the hotel is to design more carefully for barrier-free, especially from the main entrance to the elevator hall through the reception, which has too steep and narrow slopes.

Anyway, we prefer to come back to this hotel again whenever we come to Bangkok.

I've stayed at Tai-Pan several times and have enjoyed it. It has a great location. Nice, quiet neighborhood (although Soi Cowboy just a few blocks away). Good pricing. A friendly staff. And, comfortable if not overly luxurious facilities. For someone looking for a quick overnight stop in Bangkok, Tai-Pan is a good alternative.

Check-in staffs not very friendly but the rooms are pleasant, cosy and beautifully decorated though.

Room rates should reduce slightly as they are currently on the high side.

For a quiet stay is ok and the hotel is conveniently located.
