We'll come back

The location could not be better, near the Kao San Rd., 7-11 is right next door. The staff was always friendly and funny. We booked a "Standard" room, but those rooms got no windows and we felt like in prison, so we changed the room the next day into a "balcony" room, and that was much better.
Thai cozy is a good and clean hotel. Good value! We will come back next year.

Will definitely stay there again

I stayed at Thai cozy house Nov 2005 and was very pleased with the place, it was clean and the staff were always there to help you and always with a smile!! Good value for money..

Beds in Bangkok

This place is just off Khao San road which is good, you don't get all the noise from the bars at night but it is still close enough to enjoy the area. They serve you a average breakfast and only service your rooms if you leave your key at reception. Staff OK but only when prompted and the pillows and bed could be softer think they were made of stone. Value for money is OK.

Would not recommend

Breakfast really awful. Bathroom leaked from every faucet and from BELOW the basin! Would not go back or recommend. Internet non-existent, almost, laundry not too efficient, either -- many better rooms around in the area at the price.

Far far overpriced!

Comparing to other hotels in this area this hotel is far overpriced! We booked a room with balcony, but there is no room with balcony! The room was very dirty, no separate shower (not even a shower curtain), so after one shower the whole bathroom was wet.
There was no bed cover, a big frig, TV with 4 channels....We just came to sleep in this room and could not enjoy the stay at this hotel!

Bath room is not meant for a big guy

The bath room is really small and narrow, not meant for big size guy. Even a small build Asian like me would find difficulty taking a decent shower. The room, however, is not that bad at all for just a good night sleep.
If you prefer Asian breakfast, the porridge is nice for me, but just don't like their western breakfast.
