Unusual hotel - very friendly and attentive staff

“This is a modern hotel, and I chose this, because I thought it was close to the airport, for an overnight stay. It turned out that it was in an area, where there was no tourist facilities whatsoever, restaurants were local Thai, and there is nothing for the tourist to do in the evening, unless you want to take a taxi into Bangkok. Taxi from the airport was a nightmare, as driver could not find the place, so the taxi cost more tha if we had booked an hotel in downtown Bangkok. Also was expensive for the return taxi to the airport. Having said that, the hotel staff were very helpful, and the buffet breakfast was as good as any I have had. The pool area was terrific, a very large pool and attentive staff for drinks and snacks. No problem with a late check out (free). I would however, think twice about staying there again, overnight prior to departure from the airport, and would probably book a well known chain, or even travel into Bangkok itself, next time.”

THE
ERAWAN (ELEPHANT) MUSEUM
A museum with the image
of the three - headed elephant which depicts an ancient
belief. The three storey structure contains antiquities
and priceless collection of ancient religion. It's body
is made from bronze with pink pedestal – rounded
base decorated with millions of little tiles. The height
covers up to 44 meters tall. The design of the three
floors represents the three worlds. The lower floor
is the underwater world. The upper floor is the earth
called, “Kao Prasumain” and the top floor
is believed to be second heaven.

Prakan Crocodile Farm & Zoo
It was built in 1950 as
Thailand’s First crocodile farm. Now, it is known
as the world’s largest crocodile farm. The farm
has over 40,000 crocodiles of different kinds. Furthermore,
animals such as tigers, chimpanzees, gibbons, turtles,
pythons, camels, hippopotamuses, and various species
of fishes are visible there.
