Simple question, but no management answer

I've previously (2005, 2006) stayed at the Park Hotel and enjoyed my time there. Service and facilities were then fine.
Last year I stayed there briefly in November 2007 and found only a manually operated TV in my room! Reception advised that all rooms were without a TV remote control, but were unable to provide a convincing explanation as to why this was so. Quite odd!
I'll be returning to Bangkok very soon (July 2008) and have written four (4) emails to their management, politely requesting updated information - are their TV's now equipped with remote control units in each room? A simple question ... should get a simple answer? You'd think so, but no answer whatsoever to the question in any of the 4 emails, despite their automated response to the first two emails, assuring me of a reply to any comments or questions within 2 business days. Now they're not even sending automated responses acknowledging receipt of emails, and still nothing after 17 days!
Looks like my days at the Park Hotel are over ...

Nice except for the breakfast...

The breakfast buffet definitely would need improvement. Otherwise it is a good place to stay for a night or two, especially since it is so close to the sky train station (Nana).

We feel like want to change to another hotel!

The hotel location is near to the sky train but the road of the hotel is one way I need to make a big u-turn to the hotel if by car. At night when I place a room service order there is somebody take the order and later the food is not deliver.

Don't stay here...Choose a different Hotel

This is the worst hotel i have stayed in in Bangkok in 22 years of traveling here. The carpets have not been cleaned in YEARS. The air conditioning in the 1st room blew hot air. The breakfast was so disgusting that i ate NOTHING and did not even drink the coffee. I paid 1,150 THB for this...it was not even worth 150 THB.
The only positive thing i can say is that the staff were polite and friendly.

Wouldn't hurry to go back but you get what you pay for really

Laundry service sooo expensive. Could have thrown dirty laundry away and bought a whole new outfit for cheaper !
Deco in rooms very dull.
No air con in lift lobby areas, only in rooms and reception area.

You couldn't pay me to go back

It was dirty not what the pictures showed. Approached staff who upgraded me to the other side which was different slightly better. I won't be going back to this hotel.

There are better place for the money

Booked through a travel agent good service from them. Arrive delayed for a day due to flood. Travel agent rong Park Hotel.
When we got there room had been change from a double to a twin, me not happy.
Rooms are small, lifts use the stairs.
Good things beer garden across the road and places to eat down the road. Close to skytrain, 5 minutes walk.

Location and value A1

This was my 3rd stay at the Park Hotel, it is perfectly situated for shopping restaurants and especially entertainment, excellent seafood restaurant within 50 m and beer garden with pretty ladies 20m.
The hotel reception is nicely decorated, and very helpful, housekeeping is A1 and will clean when you require (a tip always works). Breakfast is excellent (if i manage to get up ). Would be my first choice hotel because of the value/location.

Roach problem

Great location just off Sukhumvit. Price is right. Hotel had a roach problem, do not leave any open container or food out as it would be covered in roaches in no time. If roaches creep you out, stay out of this hotel.

No frills

For shoppers, this is the right place to stay. Low cost, easy access to NaNa BTS (5 mins). This hotel is the best. Many Pubs are nearby and food is almost available 24 hrs. Each to reach the main highway to airport, so no traffic woes.
