Nice hotel

TK Palace hotel is very nice hotel. Near the Airport, the room is very clean
and, only a five minutes walk, there is a BIC-C Super center. We can buy anything!! And, free transport service to airport!! Next time I would like to stay a week!!

Convenient for Airport travelers

Very convenient for airport travelers. We just needed a place to crash after arriving on a flight and travelling to Phuket the next day. This was excellent for that purpose. There is a free shuttle to the airport in the morning. When the shuttle was full, they paid a taxi for us instead. Breakfast was also excellent.

Near airport, and pretty nice.

Nice large room and a 20-minutes to the airport location at a reasonable price make this hotel a good value for layovers. Nothing much near the hotel though, which make it unattractive if you're wanting to do anything but sleep.

Convienient if early flight

For a nights stay near to the airport this place is relatively decent value. Everything was in good working order the shower was great. If you have an early flight and want to stay near the airport this is a definite option.

Waiting at Bangkok airport at 1am for a non existant hotel car to meet us.

Unfortunately the hotel car that I had booked to collect us on arrival was not there to meet us.
Eventually when I rang the hotel, they said that they do not accept bookings on arrival only on departure (even though I had an email confirmation saying "on arrival").
So we had to exchange money and then get a taxi, which considering it was by then 1am, was very inconvenient.

Good location, average hotel

We stayed at TK several times off and on during our trip. Many of the rooms were old and moldy and smelly, but we did get a clean updated room on the 8th floor on our very last night. The reception desk employees are not very friendly or helpful, but the restaurant and bellboys are superb.
The breakfast was delicious and varied- well worth the extra cost. The pool was clean and refreshing and large with nice towels. We found the location excellent, within easy walk over the overpass to Big C supermarket and taxis were easy to get. The airport is only 15 minutes away and we got one free ride there per stay.

Nothing special, poor location

This mid class hotel have nothing special, the room was quite small, the breakfast average, it seems the hotel is preferred by travel groups from different country of Asia. The surrounding is not very pleasant there is a very busy road nearby though the rooms themselves are enough quiet, but there are a lot of better locations. Without taxi your are lost there.

Moving on!

We have stayed at the TK now for several years as it is convenient to the area we work in, and was close to the old airport. But overall, the place is getting 'tired'. We are still often put into the old section, rather than the recently renovated rooms, which are in great need of repair.
Pleased that renovations are now taking place (with accompanying noise), but we can book for the same price a 5 star in central BK.
Sorry TK, we are moving on.
