Good bargain

by zack from kuala lumpur, malaysia, 22 Sep 06

Very good location, next to everything in Bangkok, however the lobby carpet really need to be changed!! Having problem with staffs as their command of English were not so good and most importantly the price that I paid thru Internet was only half of the actual price!!!

Great value and excellent service

by Kevin from Singapore, 18 Apr 07

Great location, basic breakfast, and that rarity in Bangkok, a competition sized pool!

Situated halfway between Chong Nonsi and Saladaeng BTS stations so you might have to walk a bit, but overall, excellent value at a great price.

Hotel was good

by Aman Singh from New Zealand, 19 Jan 07

Ensure taxi driver knows where Silom is as due to its being on a side road - some may have trouble finding it - more so if there is a language barrier.

Cost from airport should cost approx 200-250 Baht via taxi and beware of taxi drivers (for example ours) took us in a circle to make more money and charged us 380 Baht.

Hotel: Breakfast is ok - for price you pay for hotel.

Staff friendly and try to help. They only really have one person who can speak English.

Closely located to the night market which is excellent.

Can use internet at hotel which is excellent. Not free service though

Not far from fast food restaurants/cafes/ post shops

Wouldn't mind staying there again.

Value for money!

by Cheong Hon Weng, Ivan from Singapore, 3 Mar 07

Location is good. Just walking distance to Patpong and the supermarket is just next to the hotel. Shopping mall are also next to the hotel under the same management. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Rooms are big and clean. The only sat back are the breakfast, not much variety.

Overall experience are good, value for money.

Good hotel

by Aman Singh from Auckland, New Zealand, 17 Apr 07

Good hotel near the railway + the night market. Kind of hard to find at first - need to explain to taxi driver exactly where it is... Breakfast avg same stuff everyday

No nearby cheap laundry person, getting laundry done in Bangkok is actually quite expensive.

Wouldn't mind staying here again - due to the shopping! But note pretty far from International airport - and note taxi drivers take longer then they should taking u there....

Not bad for a 3 stars hotel !!!!

by Andy, 13 Dec 07

13 Dec 2007.

Carpet and toilet at hotel room that I stayed are newly refurbished. Clean and no unwanted smell.

Hotel located around Silom area however needs to walk about 5-10 minutes (via back lane) to reach Silom road - the most happening place at Silom.and probably around 15 - 20 minutes walk to Patpong - the nightlife area.

BTS (skytrain) station is nearby to hotel (2-3 minutes walk). Very convenient to move around using this mode of transport.

As mentioned in other reviews. Swiming pool is located at opposite building - 9th floor, Trinity Complex. Guest is requires to get swimming pool voucher from hotel front desk.

If you are adventure enough on street food. There are lots of food stores around back lane (on the way to Silom road). Food (e.g. chicken rice) at Trinity Mall food court (next to hotel) also an option to try. I love the milk cake at Ground floor, Trinity Complex.

A high-recommended hotel for staying in Bangkok

by Peter Chan from Hong Kong, 12 Dec 06

The hotel is about 3 minutes walk to the Chong Nonsi BTS station and within 8 minutes walk to Patpong, yet it is located in a quiet area. The room is spacious and clean. A double room with a king-size bed, at a marginally additional cost, is recommended as this will give you more space.

The included buffet breakfast is of reasonable variety and quality. One of the hotel receptionist girl is from China, under a management training scheme. Hence for Mandarin-speaking travelers, there would be a 'home' feeling.

There is a good Japanese restaurant within 5 minutes walk across the road, opposite to the Bangkok Bank which will cost you THB 80 for a bowl of Japanese pork-chop rice, THB 220 for a sukiyaki set, and unlimited free ice tea. A refillable pot of Japanese tea costs THB 20.

You can take an airport bus to Silom at a cost of THB 150, drop off at Bangkok Hotel and walk 4 minutes to the Trinty hotel. The hotel is taxi accessible.

Cons: The hotel is within the Trinty Complex and is accessed via a quite road, though it would be safe to walk through even after mid-night. The room lighting is not as bright as for a luxurious hotel such as the Novotel (at triple the cost). The room has no Internet access.

Despite the above cons, I could not expect more at the price of THB 1,350 per night through AtSiam.com. I failed to book thru another agent prior to AtSiam.com, hence they have different quotas. Direct booking to the hotel for the same room would cost THB 2,000.

In my next visit to Bangkok, Trinity will certainly be one of my preferred hotels.

by Ong Chee Howe from Singapore, 11 Nov 07

I book this hotel thru online and is far more better than I and my friends expected, A very conveniences place to stay, In front of the hotel is the bustling street of stall and just a five minute walk is the Patpong area, the room I and my friends stay is spacious and clean, staff is helpful But it a bit dark walking thru the alley to the hotel at night.

Overall it a nice hotel to stay.I'm coming back this month to stay again.
