Bad experience

by jon gregory from uk, 30 Apr 07

The hotel was dirty and smelly, it was cheap but in need of a refit. In a good location for Patpong etc but look about there is much better than this !!

Practical, inexpensive but not fancy

by Terrence M. from Canada, 15 Aug 07

This is an inexpensive hotel located near the SkyTrain and Silom. It is not fancy but practical if this is what you are looking for. The room was clean and presentable but not luxurious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Bed Bugs!

by Shawn from Singapore, 9 Jun 08

Originally, I booked a room and wanted to stay from 5 to 8 June. However, on the first night, to my horror, I saw quite a number of bed bugs in the hotel. So, I decided to check out after staying there for one night and move to another nearby hotel. The breakfast was not up to expectation.

Nevertheless, in terms of location, this hotel is convenient. You can get around quite easily since it's near BTS Chong Nonsi.

Good location

by Don WAN from Hong Kong, 22 May 05

It's pretty good for a 3 star hotel. The room is adequately big but the air-con needs upgrading. The breakfast is buffet style but have little variety to choose from. The swimming pool is on the next building and you need to walk three floors up.

The thing that really pissed me off was the phone charge. I was told that if I don't get through, there would be no charge. I made two local calls and could not get through but I was still charged for one call. I tried to argue but the receptionist insisted. Since it's only 10 Baht so I gave them.

So be prepared if you telephone in the room.

I could have found better

by Kieron Wood from Dublin, Ireland, 22 May 05

Faded carpets, home-made furniture. View from the room was dire. But very convenient for the Silom Road and Sky train. Nice coffee bar next door and use of a very pleasant rooftop pool next door.

Great staff and location!!

by Belle from HongKong, 26 Sep 06

We got to the hotel really late, the taxi driver had problems with the address in English, best is to get the hotel address in Thai, which made life a lot easier. Was only there for the weekend so the location was excellent, close to BTS. And the staff are friendly and helpful anytime of the day. We even got room upgrade, the room was spacious.

After checkout we were able to put our luggage at the lobby, and because the safe was at the lobby counter, so we were also able to keep our stuff in the safe while we wondered around for the last day. The thing i disliked about the hotel was the room, everything is old fashion or just old. U can smell the old carpet or bit of dust. But overall it was OK for the price we paid. I might go back, but i would prefer to try something else next time.

We will be back!

by Dominik Matthias Will from Nuremberg, Germany, 21 Mar 07

We enjoyed our stay at Silom Trinity. The staff was friendly and helpful, even they could improve their English language skills. The only thing I have to complain is that we had to change our room twice, because they were overbooked. And you should not stay at room 610 (junior suite). The bathroom is a mess (shower is not working). We booked a junior suite and room Nr. 511 was very nice, clean & spacious. The bed (King Size) was comfortable and clean. Air-Con could be a little bit stronger. Breakfast was okay (it's not a 5star hotel). Overall very good value for money. Location really great. A few minutes from Silom road and a few steps from Chong Nongsi BTS.

We come back

by michael bonderer from kl, Malaysia, 16 Apr 08

It's simple and old hotel maybe a renovation would make better impression (new painting the walls and new carpets):-) and unfortunately very complicated to get to the pool. Last time there was a bridge from the hotel to the trinity complex, what is removed now .

Elevator in hotel to slow heheh. Staff friendly and they do the best (special late room cleaning) after long party night.

We'll certainly return to Trinity Silom on our next trip to BKK

by Daniel LEVINSON from Paris, France, 23 May 05

Pros:
Nice people, excellent location next to public transportation and city center, perfectly clean rooms, very quiet place yet in a busy district, pleasant swimming pool and sauna.

Cons:
Booked 2 rooms, only one was registered when we arrived (same happened to the friends who had recommended the hotel), very dull and sad view from the room window (are we in BKK or in jail ?), breakfast so-so.

I would be back again and hopefully you can change breakfast

by Kim Souk from Sydney Australia, 22 May 05

I don't like the breakfast, should have some thing different every couple of days but overall is good. Location is very convenience to all transport. All the staffs are quite friendly but they should have safety box so we don't have to worry about our valuable thing to leave behind.
