Baan Saen Doi Resort Chiang Mai Reviews & Ratings

It was a real pleasure to live in Baan Saen Doi (Deluxe Double Room). The resort is located in a quiet living area at the border of the city. For trips to the city centre and whatever sights and places around Chiang Mai it is very useful to rent a car or a motorbike, the rental of which can be organized at best conditions by the staff of the resort.

The resort consisting of 3 buildings in direct vicinity was build and furnished very nice with all comfort in the local style and it provides a private and cozy atmosphere. The room with bathroom and balcony is sufficiently spacious and provides the same luxury atmosphere. We enjoyed almost every day to go to the large an beautiful swimming pool at the club house nearby. There is also a fine restaurant, which continues the style of the resort and serves local dishes at fair prices in an excellent way.

The people at Baan Saen Doi let you feel what real service with a personal touch is. A special thank to Ooy and Ning of the staff. For the breakfast we could order instead of the standard a choice of the delicious local fruits (mango, mangostene, pineapple, papaya, melons etc.).

Coming again to Chiang Mai we will definitely stay at Baan Saen Doi with its friendly people and excellent service and hospitality.

We were speechless when we saw our room ( Lux.suit 2 BR). The room was very big, spacious and very well designed. Our kids felt immediately at home. The two bedrooms are so beautiful and so comfortable. There is a Jacuzzi in our bathroom and also the rain shower. Everything we have in this room no matter the kitchen, living room, terrace or balconies are so large and well decorated. We extended our stay because we didn't want to stay at anywhere else in Chiang Mai and we simply didn't want to leave this place.

The club house where the swimming pool and tennis course is 3 minutes walk from the hotel, the Spa is across the road. The restaurant Saen Kam restaurant at the club house serves delicious food with the excellent view and superb service. There is no need to go anywhere else when you are at this hotel.
The service and the hospitality of the people who work there is unforgettable. They always help you in whatever they can.

The breakfast room is very nice and cosy. I love the rice soup with fish and the Deep fried dough (Pa tong Ko). You can get either Continental or American style breakfast at your choice. We enjoyed our BF and the service very much.

I have to thank the woman who works in the BF room again for repairing the Teddy Bear of my daughter.

When we are going to Chiang Mai again, Baan Sean Doi will be the only choice for us because it's more than the money worth and the people there pampered and treated us so well. Our children said that the sofa couch in the living room is their biggest bed in the world.

Thank you Khun Ooy, Khun Nang and everyone at Baan Sean Doi for making our stay there so memorable and unforgetable.
