Good value for money
by Ms Leung from Hong Kong, 18 Jun 08
The Hotel is rather old. Better stay in Garden wing. We asked for a room facing swimming pool but it is the only room facing the pool with window blocked by a coconut tree. The other rooms are small with double bed and not looking at Garden. Ours is the best room, spacious with twin bed and at a corner.
As we were there during low season, so it was very quiet. The distance from hotel to night bazzar is 20 minutes by their free shuttle. Beware they only runs at 8 pm and return at 11pm. You need to take tuk tuk Baht100 back to hotel if you wants to go back to hotel before 11 pm.
Most tuk tuk knows the hotel, bring the hotel card with map, will help.
Overall, it is good value for money with Baht1,400 per room /night.

I like this hotel.
by Anonymous user from Tokyo, Japan, 10 Aug 05
This hotel is a little away from town, but Chiang Mai is not so big anyway, this is not a problem at all. Located within only 15 minutes of walking to Central Shopping Center. The hotel staff is helpful, although the breakfast is not great but good enough.
There was only one problem while I stayed there. I was annoyed by crazy travelers who shouted early in the morning and late at night, because of the thinness of the wall to the next room.
I previously stayed at the same class hotels in Chiang Mai, but this hotel is one of the best among them. I'll certainly stay here again.

No noise, No dulness
by SACHIO TAKESUE from FUKUOKA,JAPAN, 11 Jan 06
The location was a little bit far from city, but many mini-buses go to city on road near by. So I didn't matter it! Besides they have a free shuttle bus between hotel to the NIGHT MARKET. So, I really enjoyed all the day in Chiang Mai.
The staff was great, really helpful, and effort to keep clean. But it was difficult to hide the old building.
Finally, they should improve breakfast. It was pity, never changed for 5 days I stayed.
Stay again? Yes, I will. I like quiet place. But you like chronic noise, stay near the NIGHT MARKET!

I will tell my friends to stay here

I really liked the garden. It was very beautiful, so I went to the garden and pool every day. The staff was very kind and smiling and useful. It was far from central, but I could go with the red taxi, so OK.
