A good place to stay for most travellers
by MR. GALLOWAY, Andrew from United Kingdom, 1 Jun 08
In an area that has a few bars (and therefore some girls) but can also offer some great dining too. Close to many major attractions, with only a short taxi ride. Staff offered a good internet deal for our family - buy the 24 hour password if you plan using their computers. All in all, a good place to stay for most travelers but not exactly perfect if you have kids with you.

I highly recommend staying here
by MR. VANDE BEEK, GYSBERTUS/CONNIE DAHROUGE from Canada, 1 Jun 08
Location of hotel was great, just outside the moat of the old city and near the night market. I highly recommend staying here.

Nice hotel
by Rafi K from Israel, 20 May 08
The only differences were that the deluxe room was slightly larger, and had a free minibar (which contained only a few cans of soda) but I'm not sure that this was worth the extra $20 per night. Overall, very nice, clean and friendly but basic so if luxury is what you're seeking then this is not the place."

“Great value, luxurious rooms and very friendly staff”
by hawking1 from boston, 1 May 08
Above all, the attitude and dedication of the staff would have made this a great place to stay even if everything else had been mediocre.

Wonderful time
by MR. BEARDSLEY, Fred B from United States, 24 Apr 08
You're right in the middle of downtown so everything is very close. You are within walking distance to both night and Sunday markets. There is always transportation available right out in front of the hotel, and they have a local tour guide section in the lobby of the hotel.
The free breakfast is incredible with many selections and even made to order egg omelets. As far as we are concerned, this is the best buy in Chiang Mia!!
We did find it cheaper to book your own transportation and have them take you to the mountains (20 Miles), where all of the major tour attractions are on one road within a few miles of each other.

A lovely hotel
by Max_Smith from Scarborough, 8 Apr 08
The hotel is well located just outside the old city, the night bizarre is just a few minutes walk down the road and there are lots of small shops and bars along the road.
We spent four nights at the hotel after spending three nights in Bangkok.
The hotel is quite new and has standard rooms, deluxe rooms, suites, etc; we stayed in a deluxe room which was very clean and well equipped. We had fruit provided every day and where not charged for the water from the mini bar.
The breakfast was a buffet style with a huge choice, one day we had lunch in the restaurant which is very nicely decorated, and the food was very good.
The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and extremely smart, there is also a small stand in reception where you can book trips, there are also plenty of private offices and touts who you can book trips through, just compare prices.
The Thai people in general are very friendly and helpful and we felt much safer in Thailand than in England.
All in all a great hotel, country and people.
