Sitting on the riverbank of the scenic Ping River, Sri-Ping Resort is idyllically situated in the quiet part of Thailand’s northern capital of Chiang Mai city. The resort is only 10-minute drive to downtown Chiang Mai, the airport and tourist attractions namely Royal Flora Ratchaphruek,Chiang Mai Night Safari, Wiang Kum Kham andBan Tawai etc..

Converted from an old house, Sri-Ping Resort is shaded by big old trees commonly found in typical Thai houses,Thai Cooking Class exuding the old charms of northern living. All nine guestrooms are stylishly furnished in northern Lanna style in harmony with sufficiently equipped modern amenities.

Each room features a spacious bedroom, a separate pantry, a walk-in shower and a private balcony overlooking the pool.

Room amenities include twin or king size beds, flat screen television with cable access, air conditioner, wi-fi Internet, safe box, coffee and tea making facilities, a refrigerator with refreshments, bathroom amenities, hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers etc.

The restaurant There is one restaurant at the resort serving authentic and contemporary Thai cuisine.

For guests who desire to get closer Thai culture, the resort offers a comprehensive hands-on cooking class. The one-day course, for example, is conducted by experienced chefs who master in Thai, Chinese and European cuisine and have worked in catering business for decades.

The class includes a tour at a local market where students will learn how to pick the right ingredients for the cooking dishes. All the dishes taught here are popular dishes whose ingredients are available in the market in their home country. Below is a sample of a list of menu in our cooking class.
