Great First Experience in Chiang Mai

by Doug Pedersen from Fresno, CA, 17 Sep 06

Yaang Come is a very refreshing place to stay that is located directly in the city but doesn't feel like in once on the grounds. The staff couldn't be better and the complimentary breakfast is very good.

Those who search beautiful and tranquility

by Hiroko P williams from Atlanta,GA, 22 Sep 06

This was an excellent hotel in Chiang mai for any types of travelers, especially the ones needs/wants to feel the Thai, only thing that was slightly negative was hotel taxi/transportation service fees, they over charge. But as long as you do your homework of how much is average fees in town, you ask them to call a cab, most likely they dropped the prices to comparable prices. Well, in this way, this is Thailand.

Chiang Mai Oasis!

This place is awesome - fantastic rooms, really polite and helpful staff, great pool and beautiful garden surrounds. Set back from the road, it's a very quiet location which made sleeping a dream!

A very lovely place in the middle of the town!

by Irmgard Krause from Paderborn, Germany, 25 Oct 06

The Yaang Come Village is a lovely tranquil spot in the hussle and bussle of Chiang Mai. Despite being juts a stone's throw from the Night Market, the hotel is quiet and peaceful.

The lovely staff, especially the young lady at the reception with name Nong, can't seem to do enough for you. Laying by the pool, enjoying fruit shakes from the restaurant is a nice way to relax while taking a break from touring and shopping.

The room was large and open and when we arrived decorated with a nice welcoming touch of fruits and small flowers on the bed, the table and in the lovely bathroom. Incense outside the door and aromatic oils over a tea light in the bathroom completed the tranquil effect each day.

I would most definitely recommend this hotel to good friends and stay here again every time.

Spoil yourself!!

by Ralph Heerens from Vancouver, BC Canada, 5 Dec 06

Excellent facility ... genuinely concerned with the quality of your stay. Lovely rooms with some "new age" treatments that have you smiling form the start. Although I never felt overwhelmed by service staff always being around, they were there whenever you needed them.

Food was great and the location is hard to beat. Although only there for a couple of nights, I suggest a stay at the start of your venture into Northern Thailand and then a few nights before heading back to the chaos of Bangkok. You'll be happy you did. Very happy with the AtSiam.com folks...no hassles, everything promised in the booking exactly as advertised and at a price a little better than their competition.

Wonderful place to stay in Chiang Mai!

by Susan V from Minneapolis, MN, 14 Dec 06

Yaang Come was lovely and in an excellent location. Close to the Night Bazaar, but felt like a world away from the rush when we were on property. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They managed to get us an extra night in the same room when we had difficulties getting to Chiang Mai according to our original plans.

Excellent choice for Chiang Mai.

by Anonymous User from N. England, 27 Dec 06

We really enjoyed our stay - the staff were helpful, the rooms were a good size and well appointed. The only drawback was the appallingly bad sound proofing between the rooms- bad luck if you get someone with a cough or who snores next door!

However, the hotel was an oasis in the middle of the city, with pool and lush gardens. It was ideally placed for the night market and riverside restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Huge Rooms and Great Service

by Gerald Toews from Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, 26 Jan 07

The staff were really great, we stayed in the "family room" which was perfect for my wife and I and our 2 kids. Very clean and roomy! Breakfast was excellent with great assortment.

Location was 5 minutes away from the bustling night market. In the centre of the city but still very peaceful and relaxing. Heartily recommend it to all and would stay there again.

Charming boutique hotel

by Mrs Barrie Clark from England, 14 Feb 07

We liked our spacious room with balcony and view over the pool. The location was convenient for the Night Market. We were well looked after and even given a cake on my birthday. The hotel organized a private taxi to the Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens, well worth a visit and the cost was reasonable. It was a pity about the mosquitoes in our room - take some deet repellent.

Yaang Come Village is a lovely and beautiful oasis.

by Erik from Copenhagen, Denmark, 28 Feb 07

We had a very pleasant stay at Yaang Come Village. The hotel is a true oasis to return to after spending time in the city. When we left the hotel, we forgot 2,000 Baht in the room safety box. The management contacted us at once and was very helpful and offered assistance with transferring the money.
