Rimkok Resort Hotel Chiang Rai Reviews & Ratings

The hotel area is really a nice green resort and very quiet. Swimming pool was very large. Rooms are quite big , but not equipped with hot boiling water for coffee. Beware of flying and biting insects since it is close to the river. Food was good, service as expected.

Since many groups books this hotel the service at peak time is "lazy". There are all kind of vital services available: Internet, message, shops.

My worst ever hotel experience. After travelling by boat in Laos, much in need of some comfort and nice hotel. Arrived from travel - manager at door scuttled into hotel, presumably because we did not meet his visual requirements? - told that the advertised "promotion" price on many sites on the internet was incorrect, and totally unconnected to him - starting price 1,730 Baht - much more. Weary, so gave in.

Hotel is shabby, service was extremely poor in all areas - bags not even taken to the shuttle when departing. Sick after restaurant meal. Breakfast the worst trough experience of my life - more busloads of stampeding, rude people than I have ever seen - and poor food range as a result.

Hotel is poorly located, well out of town - and only transport option is hotel shuttle, which is 60Bt per person.
