Poor swimming pool
by Hide from Japan, 10 Feb 06
Totally good. The lobby is spacious and clean. Breakfast is good. But the swimming pool is small and have to go through the restaurant to get there and there is no towel service, but I think it may be because of the season. Chiang Mai is not so hot in these days.

Right in the heart of Chiangrai
by Mr. & Mrs. Yong Ah Keh from Ipoh, Malaysia, 26 May 06
This is our first trip to Chiangrai. We wanted a hotel that is right in the middle of town, within walking distance to restaurants & the market. We got what we wanted.
We would definitely stay here should we visit Chiangrai again.

I wouldn't go back, neither recommend this hotel. Dirty pool and Bad management !
by Catherine from Paris, FRANCE, 28 Aug 06
Convenient hotel, near the night market, but very dirty small pool, average breakfast and staff reluctant to help customers. One evening, I told the reception that I found the pool dirty and that the ashtrays on the tables in the pool area had not been cleaned from morning till evening, but nobody cared about it the next days !
As for the breakfast supposed to finish at 10 AM, I had to argue to be able to have small Thai pancakes as for the second time I arrived at 9:30 in the morning, the cooks had stopped to make these pancakes. The 1st time, the restaurant refused to make the pancakes for me; the 2nd time, as I have insisted, the manager (or maybe the maitre d'hotel), a very courteous man, agreed to fulfil my request. Another issue: one evening, around 11:30 PM, as I asked the reception to switch on the light in the lobby, I was told to sit in front of the lift where there was a light! That evening and the next day, I had to argue to have light for the sofas of the lobby! Apparently, the hotel seemed to worry of saving energy and money on different matters ... I would certainly not recommend that hotel !!!
