We would love to go back again.

by Anonymous user from Singapore, 14 Aug 05

Idyllic getaway that i only thought possible in Travel and Leisure discovery channel. A place that we can all fall in love with at first sight. The resort is just by the beach and the constant sea breeze and the sound of waves make one's stay very relaxing.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. To some, the resort's no TV policy may not go well.

Nonetheless, highly recommended.

Highly Recommended

by Anonymous user from France, 26 Aug 05

Beautiful place, quite and kindly. Gateway from Bangkok, just 3 hours to arrive in this luxury resort. The waves of the sea and the helpful staff will welcome you for relaxing stay. Do not forget to pass at sky spa to enjoy the massage with a view on the sea! They also propose interested packages.

The accommodations have personal design which add lot of charm on this resort.

Do not hesitate to go there if you need some relax...

If it's peace and tranquility you seek - Aleenta awaits you.

by Mr W Dewar from Hampshire, England, UK, 3 Sep 05

We liked the location, hotel's layout and design. The room we stayed in was spacious and interesting with good air con or sea breeze, if you preferred. The bathroom was good but whereas the dimensions of the sunken bath were large the supply of water to fill it, to even a few inches, was too slow. If you only like showers it was great.

The service of all the staff was very good and the restaurant staff were excellent -as was the chef proficient in both Thai and European cuisine. The largest plus was just the feeling of total relaxation and tranquility. And nothing was too much trouble for staff or management.

The location is isolated but where, these days, do you get a beach almost to yourself with no vendors touting their goods our services? My wife and I loved it and have already recommended it to some of our friends/relatives in the Asia region and UK.

Absolute relaxing

by Michaela from Bonn, Germany, 22 Dec 05

One of the most peaceful places I've ever been. The rooms (we stayed in a pool villa) were fantastic, food excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. The spa was great (try the aroma therapy!).

Loved Aleenta . . .

by Cheryl A. Newman from American expat in Singapore, 1 Feb 06

Loved Aleenta . . . wonderful place . . . just a long drive to get there. Rooms lovely - only could use more comfortable mattresses and adding the option to make pool a hot tub would be wonderful (our pool was too COLD to get into . . . but maybe at other times of the year it is fine???) We did love our stay though and are already thinking about when we can go back!!!

Uunderstated escape

by Eric Chang from Hong Kong, 22 Mar 06

We spent 3 days at the resort which was excellent. The previous comments do not reflect our experience and other guests who we have spoken to while at the resort. Everyone seem to have a great time enjoying the superb location, exceptional food and friendly service and staff.

The managers are consistently there taking care of every detail and making sure that things are of world class service. We recommend the resort very much!

Not very pleasant

by Anonymous User, 18 May 06

Poor - very disappointed - no one seemed like they enjoy their job. Manager that was totally unapproachable. The bar service was good but the food was moderate. Beautiful view - if you are there for the view and not worried about the service - it is OK.

Tranquil, romantic and very comfy!

by Pimshanok O., 3 Jul 06

I hesitated choosing this resort as it doesn't have a TV but my other half insisted it was what he wanted to get away from our overwhelming lives. After settling in and having taken a trip to the Sky Spa I was surprised that I hardly wanted any audio or TV pollution to disrupt the serene atmosphere. And that's where we spent most of our day time....spoiling ourselves there twice daily.

Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. I love the feel of a smaller resort that has a much more homely feel. Food was also great! We certainly will choose Aleenta if we head to Pranburi again.

So romantic place

by PM from France (me) & Thailand (my gf), 28 Sep 06

Really great place. We took the Penthouse suite with my girlfriend for this week end. The place is a bit difficult to reach but so peacefull and relaxing ... I was thinking: do they place drugs in our food to make us relaxing that much?!? No, just the place is made for u to relax as much as possible and feel great ... and they succeed.

If u can, try the Penthouse suite, it is a bit more expensive than the other rooms, but so great: the vue is so beautifull and when the morning happen, just open the windows and stay in bed with ur beloved to enjoy the sun just waking up from the sea ... so romantic. All is very simple but great quality at this place. Wish we had time to spend at least a week there. The only downside is maybe they should more care of the beach: so trash came on it with the see at the morning (bottles, plastic bags, a shoe ...) but i think they'll take care of that.

Anyway, we'll go back there for sure: it is really a Paradise!!!

Gold star to Jason & his team

by Stephen & Karen from Singapore, 25 Jan 07

We loved it. It really is a gorgeous little boutique resort with excellent attentive and friendly service. Jason is a visible, hands-on manager. He and his team really make your stay a magical one. Food and wine - great (reasonably priced, too); service - excellent; location - catch the single prop plane from Bangkok - it's fun; spa - gorgeous; beach - at your doorstep. 10 out of 10
