Good value in central Hua Hin

Centrally located opposite Sofitel. Building site in front of the door. No shower curtain in the bathroom. International TV channels available. No chair in the room, car parking on main street.

Will consider again

Very small pool. Staff very helpful. Some noise from construction work. Breakfast not included, but staff arranged a discount on restaurant in same building as reception. Good location of hotel.

Good choice

Quiet and peaceful, but a little noise from building a new hotel next door. A short walk to the beach and plenty of good and excellent value restaurants. Seafood! You can find cheaper hotels in Hua Hin, but this one is still a really good choice.

It's OK but I'd like to try new places

I like the location because it's pretty near to the beach though the air conditioner is not so cool but it's clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable and the staffs are friendly.

Nice hotel, good location

We had a family suite that was really spacious, but with little furniture. Good, quiet area but not far from the beach and at walking distance from the night market and seafood restaurants.
The nearby restaurant that was recommended for breakfast (not included) was really good, also for dinner.
The staff helped us to book a taxi for a very nice full-day tour on our own to the national park nearby, which gave high value for money.

Don't Trust the Shower

The suite rooms were of an OK standard but I was very frustrated with the showers. Often there was very little water with no pressure and when there was water 9 times out of 10 it was cold. All reception would say was "we have problems with water supply" For this reason i would not use Hua Hin Suites again.

Would not recommend or return until all renovations completed

I stayed for 9 nights from 7th August. I had not been informed there was major renovation work ongoing at the hotel. I could not use the (tiny) swimming pool as surrounded by workmen. The telephone in my room did not work although the staff were always willing to let me use their mobile phones.
There is no restaurant or reception area in the hotel and no chairs in bed rooms. There is a charge to store passports etc in the hotel safe. However, the room was cleaned daily and the staff were as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. The WiFi (which I was very surprised was available since so little else advertised was) was particularly helpful to me as the phone was not working and I'd visited to view properties and needed to be in close contact with various agents and developers.
The best thing (other than WiFi) about this hotel would be its location, just around the corner from the night market, close to the beach and bars and restaurants.

Under renovation, water slow, price little bit high than surrounding hotel

Hotel is under renovation, water go out from the tap and shower is slow, and the price is little higher than the surrounding new hotel walk in price. Besides of renovation, everything I think is OK.
