Sofitel Central Hua-Hin Resort Reviews & Ratings

We have just returned from 5 nights at the Sofitel Centara Grand Hua Hin, and will definitely go back. The grounds are huge and beautifully tended with the most amazing topiary. There are 3 swimming pools spread out in the grounds, all the pools are large, clean and the water was warm. Loads of beds round the pools to choose from, and space between them.There's a library to borrow books from to save you packing them.

Breakfast on the terrace was good with a large buffet covering all types of food.The rooms are not as good as some of the newer hotels, but clean and comfortable.

Location is great with the night market just outside the hotel.All in all a beautiful hotel.

What is really a pity is the pressure the management puts on the staff to save money as much as they can on a few details : for instance the option Sofitel club is supposed to offer small things to eat during lunch time, but most of the time we had to claim to obtain the minimum, the same for the products in the bathroom. You have all that you need when your claim, but you have often to ask for it.

Because I changed hotel in Hua Hin, so I just walk in Sofitel, but the guard did not let me in, so i have to walk and wait for a very long time in the sun.

It made us very angry and the hotel did not give any solution except apologize, it make me very disappoint.
