Tanawit Hua Hin Condo Hotel Reviews & Ratings

I didn't expect the service to have been as courteous as a 4 or 5 star place as I had a pretty good idea what kind of an establishment it is. I know we stayed during one of the busiest weekends because of the Jazz Festival but it was no reason why a condotel was made to feel and sound like a market from the moment my car turned into the parking lot in front of the hotel.

The security guard shooed us to drive on in the already tightly packed car park and someone else came running out from the reception area and barked at us rudely asking if we were staying at the hotel or not (as if we would have turned into the mega packed car park if we weren't! duh!).

Afterwards they were just shouting to and from across the reception area at us to ask who we were with (meaning which agent we booked with) and what name we had reserved under. Not impressed. The condotel was undergoing a refurbishment judging from the mess in the reception area and staff were "making do" with their facilities. My friends and I, being hotel employees ourselves noticed that they were having some complications with our booking and we were not impressed with the unfriendly faces that greeted us apart from only one person in the reception area.

To be honest, I guess with the kind of money we paid we shouldn't expect too much and at the end of an exhausting journey all we cared about was a clean room to sleep in with air conditioning and warm water to shower.

Frankly we chose this hotel as we had no other choice, every where else was fully booked.

Hotel is in center of town, room was clean and nice, breakfast good. Was in Annex, downstairs was a good internet shop, that also offered wireless to the room for a fee. Across street a massage place ( Pimpaka ), good service, fair price.
