See you again next year

Really enjoy our holiday. The hotel room are very nice and clean. The atmosphere are quite surround by the garden, good location not far from town, we can walk along the beach only 10 min. Service staff very friendly and helpful. We think is the best place to stay. Absolutely we come back again next year.

Neat boutique hotel on Hua Hin Beach

The Veranda Lodge is perfectly located in Hua Hin, next to the Marriott. While the rooms don't face the water, the restaurant is right on the beach with a wonderful view...and good food. The included breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. The small swimming pool is very private as it seems little used.
Other than that the management should have warned about the jellyfish stings, this was a wonderful choice I made for my beach windup to a tour of Thailand and Cambodia.

Excellent value for money

We really enjoyed our 7 days in the family suite. Its a bit more expensive than the deluxe rooms, but having two rooms (and two bathrooms!) and the big balcony facing the beach is worth the extra bath.
We checked out of Marriott (100 meters away) (where they charged 12,500 bath++ per night!!!) since our room was extremely dark with mosquitoes everywhere. Both rooms and service are a lot better at Veranda Lodge. The atmosphere is very cozy and you really feel welcome right away.
This was the first time we didn't stay at a 5 star hotel, but when we go back to Hua Hin we will definitely check in to Veranda Lodge (room 301!) again.

Just returned, had a great time. Hotel is on a great beach front location. Hotel very peaceful, great for our little boy. Rooms very clean and tidy, staff couldn't do enough for you. Only a 10 minute walk into town, to all the bars and restaurants.
The only negative thing we found was the bathroom to be very small, also the pool is on the small side but that didn't matter to much being right on the beach.

Good Value Hotel

A really good friendly hotel, location is fine about a 15 minute walk to the main area around the Hilton Hotel.
We found the staff really friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, breakfast is a set menu though staff were always willing to make changes to the breakfast menu.
Beach is really good, clean with lots of sun loungers, though you do get the usual beach traders selling to you.
Rooms really nice always hot water in the shower, and a safe for valuables in the room.
Overall a very good hotel for the price, and we will use again when next in Hua Hin.

We can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Veranda Lodge so much that we extended our time there. The staff were very friendly and were happy to entertain our one year old so that we could have a relaxing meal. The location is very good with the beach right on the doorstep. We'd stay there again.

A great place. Me and my husband were traveling with our children (5 and 12 years) and all of us loved Veranda Lodge and the staff made us feel so welcome. Now we are going back to Hua Hin and bringing our friends. There is no better place to stay at, close to a nice beach with sun chairs and close to town. I can highly recommend it!

Good value for money

This is a rare good value for money hotel in Hua Hin Central. Do not expect superlatives, but Veranda Lodge has a number of advantages. Its location, its decent service and its excellent breakfast (except bottled orange juice).
The rooms are, although re-painted in bright colors, uninspiring and the bathroom very small.

Probably the best small hotel in HuaHin

A nice place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful any time. Very clean and quiet. Reasonable prices. After buying several nights I was presented with free internet connection daily. Tasty meals; the restaurant beach front veranda is highly recommended for evening cocktails. Walking distance (10-15 mins) to the city nightlife hot points. The hotel beach is clean and kept tidy by staff.

We would go again

This is a small, friendly and quite charming hotel, representing good value for money (at least during the week, off-season). The location is ideal, being a 15 minute walk on the beach from down-town Hua Hin. It is quiet, but we notice that bungalows are being built close to the perimeter of its grounds, and this may change the atmosphere.
