Duenshine Resort Kanchanaburi Reviews & Ratings

The rooms were on the river, and whoever originally designed and landscaped the hotel did a great job, but the upkeep is very poor, our sink was covered in ants and damp was pulling paint off the bathroom walls.

The breakfast was very good, but we found that going to a guest house in town for half the price (but no breakfast) was at a much higher standard. I have also been o raft accommodation at the Jungle rafts - amazing - go there, not near town but go for a night or two. Duenshine - not good, can't walk to town and they charge 150 Baht for a lift in!!!

Unfortunately this hotel did not live up to our expectations. The room we had booked was adequate but not of the standard we expected at the price. The breakfast on our first morning was stone cold and barely any choice!

It was over two kilometers from town on foot and the hotel did not provide complementary transport, so the choice was walk or expensive taxi. Second morning breakfast completely different due to catering for a party and in a different dining area. We would not recommend this hotel as there are cheaper and more convenient locations in town.
