We were very impressed by this hotel, although not in the centre, taxi's were readily available and the staff here were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked "river-view " rooms but what they call river view is actually river side with no view at all!! apart from that, is a very nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and lovely garden/swimming poll

We booked a suite which was fantastic value for money. Location was great. The main swimming pool wasn't in use when we went but that was just fine as we swam in the one by our rooms which looked over the River Kwai. We were only there for one night but we wished we had had longer. It was a lovely peaceful setting and we do wish we had had more time to explore more of the area and make use of the facilities. The only downside is that there aren't any lifts around and this made using pushchairs difficult. I only wonder how someone would get on with a wheelchair!
