We will be back next year!
by Eric from Netherlands, 7 May 08
Really good location, plenty of parking space. Excellent breakfast buffet. Only it was a pity that they were renewing the swimming pool, so we could not have a swim, for the rest I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Really good value for money. Will be back next year.

Nice, clean & comfortable hotel.
by wil from amsterdam, the netherlands, 24 Jul 06
The staff was nice and helpful-though it didn't seem like that in the beginning, but that was because their English was very bad. They had good intentions. The carpeted hallways looked very poor but the room inside was very comfortable. The bathroom could be better; I'm 1.92 meters tall and I was not able to stand straight up in the shower. So if you are taller than 1.85 meter you should ask specifically for a higher ceiling in the bathroom (am not sure if they have that). Breakfast was much better than we had so far in Thailand; toast, fresh fruit, cereals were all offered.

The hotel is of good value.
by Anonymous User from Bangkok, Thailand, 5 Jan 07
I like the location and the friendliness of the staff. They were helpful in recommending us places of interests. The hotel itself is old but still in good condition. Though we heard about loud noise from the nearby Disco at night and we asked for a room far from it, we still could hear annoying noises. Breakfast very good but had to wait for omelet more than 10 minutes.

Value for Money.
by SIMON JOHN MOSS from NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, United Kingdom, 24 Jan 08
Stayed with wife and 13 year old son Xmas and New Year 08. Have visited Kanchanaburi on 3 occasions with my family. Main reason for visit is family history, to visit war cemetery and explore railway. Having a 13 yr old we like to have a swimming pool this is the nearest to cemetery with pool and within easy walking distance.
Value for money hotel, stayed in Felix 2 yrs ago better hotel but further away and this yr 3 times the price of River Kwai. T
his hotel is value for money for what you pay and the best situated for cemetery. They are building a new pool at the back of present one. Superior rooms value for money parts of hotel very good some areas a bit dated. Will return.
